Q: I hold both BEPC and BEP.UN. THE BEPC SHARES I HOLD AT A LOSS. I’M WONDERING IF YOU KNOW WHETHER OR NOT I CAN SELL THE SHARES IN BEPC AND BUY BEP.UN WITH The proceeds, and still claim the capital loss on the BEPC shares?

Q: Gold above $2050 would be bullish I think. Wondering what your thoughts are on this asset category at this time and looking for your top two large and small cap picks that would have torque to a higher gold price.

I own TSLA shares mostly due to Elon Musk's innovation in the EV and other areas.. Given that he is always in the spot light (not always positive), do you think it is time to bail out or is the publicity just noise for now and will go away eventually . Q: Hi 5i Team,

I keep hearing that purchasing bonds is currently a generational opportunity given how elevated interest rates currently are and we are likely at the peak point of the rate cycle. How would you recommend approaching having exposure to bonds in order to capitalize on the opportunity?

Are there any other sectors or areas of opportunity that are out there that you think one should get exposure to in preparation of interest rates eventually coming down?

Q: Good morning.

I am down 35% on CSW.A with an effective yield of 4.4% on the purchase price. It is my cash account.

Is there really any point in continuing to hold this one? From reading answers to previous questions it does not appear there is any significant growth potential.

I think it would be best to take the capital loss and buy a BNS, BCE or ENB. Even with the loss I would make more income.

Your thoughts please.

Q: Hi 5i Guys

I've owned BIP/BIPC for several years and done well with it. But with all the new Brookfield offerings and re-structuring I don't know if it's still best for me. Looking for both Dividends and Growth and sticking with Brookfield, should I stay with BIP/BIPC or is there a better stock to purchase in the Brookfield family?

Q: The Fidelity International Value index ETF has done very well over the past year. Its seems like value style of investments has performed better then growth/ momentum style in the last year for the global sector. Do you think this trend will continue for international stocks or is it the other way round. Looking forward for the next 2-3 years would interest rates going down be more of a favorable environment for the valve stocks?
