Q: I follow your balanced equity portfolio. I have not sold SJ. I have not added RHT, TECK.B and WEF. Should I wait and sell SJ. Is this a good time to buy the rest. Please give me the order I should purchase. T as always Steve

Q: I have TDG and I am under water (paid 3.05). I was waiting for the coming back up in price of this share to sell it, but with the recent news that the possible take over of this company what do you suggest I should do?
- buy more shares to bring my price lower
- sell them right now
- or status quo ( wait and see)

Q: I have 1% in NWH.un since a long while. Healthcare equity income as a long term hold. Their recent deal appear to provide them with safety and growth.
Looking to buy more. Do you think management could be given credit for their vision and operational execution, and how would you rate it now for income?

Q: Hi Peter/Ryan,
I recently sold MG from my daughters TFSA and would like to either add to 1 or 2 of her portfolio underweight holdings (DOL, SIS, TCL.A, PKI) (all held in her TFSA) and/or buy PBH in her TFSA which is also in her investment acct at a portfolio weight of 3%.
My inclination is to add to DOL and buy PBH. Plan is long term hold. Any thoughts? Disregard sector percentages.

Q: Concerning Mike's question, earlier today, on Great Canadian Gaming. You indicated the expected eps for Q2 is 67 cents. I have Thompson Reuters showing consensus expected eps of 72 cents. Is that a slight oversight or is your source showing a consensus of 67 cents? Thanks.

What are your thoughts on GC's numbers? Does this report give more ammo to the longs or to the shorts? Are there any red flags? What is GC's debt profile and their capacity to handle that debt.

Q: Hello I hold the BMO monthly Income A mutual fund. I am trying to find a replacement in the etf world that can reduce my fees and give me approx the same income and somewhat stability. Current yield is approx 3.5%. Do you have a few suggestions? Thanks

Q: Can I get your thoughts on CAE's earnings ,their debt and growth prospects?

There seems to be a theme regarding the stocks I follow this earning season. Higher valuation stocks (p/e around 20+) when they meet expectations or miss by a little, seem to sell off quite dramatically at first, only the to claw back most of the day's losses. Horrible for anxiety levels. Great for day trading or establishing long term positions though, in my opinion.
