I am undecided over how to handle my Constellation software holding. I have done well with it and it is 15% of my portfolio. I am vacillating between trimming some and letting it ride until there is a threat from a black swan event. You must have encountered such situations before and your opinion and reasoning may help me take a decision.

Rajiv
Q: Shouldn't investors be proceeding cautiously given the S&P P/E is close to 28 and a couple of red flags were announced this morning (jobless claims above expectations; McDonalds largest US sales decline since 2020)? Or am I being too much of a Nervous Nellie?
Q: May I have your opinion of Amazon and Apple’s earnings this quarter and future outlook please.
Not sure this really applies to these two, but I’ve heard that the tariffs won’t truly impact companies’ earnings until next quarter (with some companies stockpiling 3-6 months worth of inventory to try to ride this out and customers doing the same). Mind you, we could wake up tomorrow and everything has changed again.
Q: Portfolio Analytics suggests a need to increase my allocation in utilities, real estate, communication services and consumer defensives. Could you give me your best 3 picks for each category, preferably on the TSX. If you feel the Canadian doesn't have very good choices, suggestions on the US market would be appreciated. Thanks.
Q: Your thoughts on OTEX, is there enough happening here to see this stock higher in a year from now? What are the most significant numbers in this Q report?
Thanks.
Can I get your thoughts on Pinetree. I would like to know if you would add to a position. It looks expensive but I plan on it being a long term hold. I just am struggling on valuation.
Q: It has been reported that various companies are going to invest 8 trillion dollars into the U.S. economy in the future. What companies/sectors do you think will benefit the most from this investment?
I am hoping you can answer this question, which has been puzzling me for awhile. Every day, when I look at the list of the top-traded stocks on the NASDAQ in the Financial Post, MSFT is never there. I can't understand why this would be. Is it because a huge percentage of the stock is held by institutions that simply do not trade it?
Q: In past Q&A's you guys have made some positive comments on AGI.
Today however the stock is tanking on earnings. Can you please let us know about your thoughts on earnings and your thoughts going forward on the stock.
Would you hold, buy or sell on this latest report?
