Q: Hi 5i,

Thank for your previous answer to my question on potential US stocks to look at for potential investment.

Out of the list provided I am interested in potentially investing in: DLR; RTX; LULU

In the event of a "pull-back" in stock valuations that may or may not come, what would you consider to be a good entry point for these stocks. I am long term 5+ year investor and I am ok with high risk.

Thank you,

Greg C.

Q: With the downgrade Microsoft has been dropping these last few days. Is this worrisome, should I take my profit and run or will this calm down and Microsoft will resume gaining? I take it there is nothing wrong with the company, just market sentiment which will change with a little time.

Q: The information provided to Tom on September 23 made me wonder about this company, specifically that it’s operating earnings has not covered its dividend for the last 12 months.

I am not a fan of EBITDA which you consider to be a better indicator of the financial situation. Does not INTEREST affect cash flow and the ability to pay dividends ?

You indicate that cash flow varies widely with water levels and electrical generation. With climate change ( drought and floods ) being a significant factor to operating cash flow, should I not be concerned ?

BEP.UN is close to 10 % weighting across my different accounts.

Thanks. Derek

Q: On Sept 11, Otex announced it has received authorization for the OpenText IT Management Platform (ITMX) from the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP®) (https://finance.yahoo.com/news/opentext-management-platform-achieves-fedramp-142600427.html ) .

You mentioned before that OTEX may need time to integrate previous M/A. With the FEDRAMP approval, would it be a buy now? Or would you consider stronger stocks to be better total returns over the next 3-4 years? Please rank the attached companies (knowing that they're all very different).

Thank you so much for your insights!

Q: Thank to the other readers for this tips re best meltdown strategies for RRSP. There were a few calculator suggestions - I looked at them all, but still find the CRA retirement calculator the best. It’s a tool that takes all the layers of retirement income into consideration. Link below. My question about a monthly selling method still stands. I’ll be watching Money Saver magazine for some advice. I read and enjoyed the boomer article, and I’ll checkout the books to see if they do indeed offer this advice. Share if you see fit. https://www.canada.ca/en/services/benefits/publicpensions/cpp/retirement-income-calculator.html

Q: Hello Folks:
We currently hold a higher position in energy producing / servicing stocks and are considering 1. adding to our current GE aerospace or 2. adding to our current tech sector of Amazon (not really tech?) and Microsoft by purchase of Navidia. We do
not currently have large portions of either GE, Microsoft or Amazon. We have owned NVDA in the past. What are your top 3 tech picks, is Amazon also a good choice and how do you see GE upside?
Thanks for your great service

Q: Hi 5i Team,

Would you still endorse a purchase of TMDX, CLBT, ASPN and CPH? When looking at the recent momentum of FLUT and DUOL would you still be buyers of these companies? What would be your order of preference if you were buying today?

Thanks as always,
Jon

Q: Hello; apparently they’re in lithography manufacturing. I stayed after watching on BNN.

Can you guide me on the best way of buying this stock? It seems to be an OTC stock and very difficult challenge to purchase some shares. Also; what are your thoughts on this company?
