Q: Hi, I'm considering adding a Canadian bank. I only hold TD. Which bank would you consider to be the best to add at this time for a longtime core holding? I'm thinking of doing a quarter position at this time and build that position over time. Also I started a quarter position in ATD recently and I'm watching it at the moment. Would you consider ATD to be fairly safe at these levels and an attractive stock to increase that position at the current price or wait to see if it's still in the bottoming process. Thank you as always for your expert advice!

Q: Half of my equities EPS growth from 2022 to 2024 is negative (ATD, LNF, QSR, PPL, SU, BNS). I did not include projected growth for 2025, 2026, 2027 as this seems excessively optimistic. Should I include at least 2025? Should I be worried? Most of them are doing well in spite of this. Any suggestions aside from hold tight and do nothing? These are all blue chip. 79 year old income, dividend value investor.

Q: For the last 5 yrs I have considered myself a dividend investor, and have a good grouping of Stocks that pay a decent average Dividend. But more and more I am interested in having a group of companies that are just great companies and want to develop a grouping of these -whether they have a dividend or not, as part of my portfolio. Companies that have a competitive advantage, great leadership, quality assets, not too high debt and continue to execute with continuous improvement. Could you give me what you consider to be the best Great Canadian Companies for each sector or industry. Thank you.

Q: Hi 5I,
Just wanted to get your input on supply chain challenges from the tariffs and what impact this might have specifically for Dollarama. It is in my portfolio and has done well but will there come a time where some shelves are bare and successes are challenged. Should we be trimming Dol.ca in anticipation of this event?

Q: I have a January 2026 call option on VRN.
As they are being taken over what happens to the option and any actions a holder would have to do ?
I am currently in a under water position and will most likely exercise if it goes positive to pick up the dividend differential.
