Q: With the likelihood of a vaccine in the relative near term there will be a rotation out of a number of tech stocks. Based on this thesis I consider the following stocks which I own to be good candidates. BYD,PKI,TFII,WSP & EIF. Do you agree and if so could you list a few other candidates that would be a good fit. Thank you.

Q: With a 5-10 year time horizon, can you recommend any dividend stocks which have stable dividends and high yields due to current market conditions? I think that RioCan and Enbridge both fall into this category and would be interested in similar stocks that have a yield in the 8-10% range.

Q: Hi Folks,
I want to shake up my small cap holdings. I would like to add some of your favorites such as WELL, STC and PHO. I currently have losses in AKU, CHR, EIF and TCL.A......should I continue to hold these or sell to free up some cash for better opportunities. It's a registered account so no tax implications.
Thanks for your help,
Dennis

Q: Hi all, I'm concerned about some of my holdings based on the rising US Covid19 cases. As such would like to raise my cash position for the eventual pullback in USA market. Please select from my list the first to last to sell or reduce in order. Thanks for all you do.

Q: I am approaching my first year with 5i Research and it has been the best investment decision I've made. Thank you for your great service.

These days, it seems like an attractive strategy to buy a stock that has potential for significant upside recovery and has a great dividend that can accrue while waiting for that recovery. The risks would be that the dividend is stopped/reduced or the recovery doesn't happen. But some companies seem to be "good enough" that we can be *relatively* confident that it works out very well. Am I missing anything? Is EIF a great candidate for such a strategy? What are some better alternatives? Thank you.

Q: I have full positions in the above except KXS and REAL. For available cash is there a stock that you like and would consider adding to this portfolio .

Q: I am coming up on the 30 day mark where I can repurchase shares that I sold to harvest some tax loses. Granted the market has been strong of late but I purchased some proxies on your recommendation and they have performed well. Which would you refer at this point AD or EIF and similarly PPL vs ENB?
Thank you for your continued support and guidance

Q: Hi 5i,
Based on your input, I'm looking to stack up on Industrials, Tech, and C. Discretionary. I have a 5-10 year+ timeframe and have a huge focus on outsized YoY revenue growth / returns for my portfolio. I can tolerate a lot of volatility and risk.

1. For Canadian industrials, what would be your top growth picks? Also looking to get one aviation exposure, what would be the best one out of AC, CAE, EIF?

2. For Canadian Tech, I currently have SHOP, KXS, LSPD, REAL. As you can see I'm aiming for outsized YoY Revenue Growth. Can you suggest other names? How does PHO and STC compare with them?

3. I have BYD, DOO, and GOOS. Can you name two MUST HAVES for Consumer Discretionary/Cyclical in the US?

Please subtract credits as you find appropriate. Thanks!

Q: I have enough cash to add to two of the following positions: ZDI (ETF), CTC.A, GWO, SU, EIF. Which two should I add to, and why? If you think I should only add to ZDI (being a diversified ETF) at this time, please indicate so. Thank you.

Q: Greetings 5i Team,
on 24 Mar, I SOLD these 4 companies for tax loss capture and am considering buying them back now. I note that FSZ and EIF have recovered more quickly than AD and NFI. Also, they are all still selling below what I had originally paid.
In what order would you buy these back? Is there a company(s) among them that you would not buy back at this time?

Thank you for this excellent service.
Steve
