Q: Hi,
Seems to be talk about gold hitting 1900.00 - do you think it is talk, or has possible legs? If it has legs what's the best instrument to invest in? ETF's or stock picking? Either way, would your preference be in US dollars or Canadian? I am wondering if gold does soar, whether or not it will help to drive the value of the US dollar down. So lots of questions - deduct points as you see fit & as always, thanks for your thoughts and suggestions!

Q: Apologies for the long list. Could I have your opinion on which I should sell? I will probably take the proceeds and add to FNV, AEM, and KL (are those reasonable choices?). Thanks very much.

Q: There are several more junior gold royalty streaming companies. Can you provide me with a list and suggest two or three that are worthy of some research?

Q: My husband has some old capital losses that I think we should start to be using now in the event of any possible future rule changes. He has a 10 position unregistered account in which there are 3 equities with substantial gains from 125% to 1350%, i.e.: WSP, ENGH and CJT.
There are 2 equities with 50% and 70% gain, i.e. SYZ and WPM and 1 equity with 35% gain, i.e. KXS. The remaining 4 have small profit or loss, i.e. CAE, MCR, CCL.B, PBH.
Looking at selling WSP, ENGH, CJT, SYZ ,WPM and perhaps KXS to apply some of the old losses. What would you recommend to buy for replacement (a 1st and 2nd choice if you could) and would you move back into the original equity after 30 days or would you just stick with the replacement ? A dividend would be nice but not mandatory. Also, any thoughts on timing considerations or other issues ? We have diversified RIFs and TFSAs in addition to the above.
Many thanks.

Q: Currently reviewing my positions in the precious metals streamers/royalty companies. I currently have a 3% position in FNV and 1% in WPM. Thinking of selling WPM and adding a 2% position in MMX. Does the shift from WPM to MMX make sense or should I just increase my exposure to FNV?

Q: I have exposure to gold in the above companies. I'd appreciate any comments you may have in regards to whether to dump or hold, and which gold companies may provide a good alternative at present. I'm thinking some consolidation might be a good idea (too many positions). Thanks.
