Both mining names have been in long-term downtrends since 2021, and both are quite small. IRV is a $20M company while FF is slightly bigger at $146M. Both names are pre-revenue, and we would consider them to be somewhat speculative. They might see a rise in price if precious metals continue to rise, but in general, we prefer proven names in the space such as AEM, WPM.
