Q: In regards to some of the companies that have gotten whacked after releasing their numbers (like Uber, Shopify, Hammand ect), what are a couple names that you think look the most likely to dust themselves off and move higher from here? Thanks

Q: Hi,
We have held a small position of PLTR since the IPO. Could you please comment on PLTR’s earnings? Street is obviously not happy. Thinking about switching to VRT. Which company do you think is better going forward PLTR or VRT? We already own NVDA, Google and Meta.

Q: Dear Peter et al:

PLTR earnings report is May 6th, FTNT on May 02 and SMCI tomorrow!! (30th April)


This is a general question and not personal!

If some had a small position and plan to add more to these three stocks, Worth writing Cash secured puts? So close to Earnings date?

IF you were to write a cash secured put what would be the price that you would choose to write for these three, including SMCI.
(Of course not guaranteed that the order will fill!)

Q: I need to trim SMCI, NVDA and VRT. I have partial positions in AMZN, MSFT, AMD, LLY,GOOG, AXON, NXT, CELH, PLTR and NTNX. Could you please order the partial positions from high to low, for a potential add? What are your recommendations for 4 or 5 other growth stocks, any size/sector that I could investigate for a new position? Would any of the these growth stocks fit into the ranking of the partial positions? If so, could you place them into the ranking? Q: Hello 5i,

Thank you for taking time to answer so many questions on top stocks to own or purchase. We read through questions on ranking popular stocks but we were not able to formulate a priority list of CDN and US small cap stocks, especially with so many rising quickly in the last couple of months.

Based on current valuations, risk, growth potential, and management, in what order would you purchase the stocks below for a 2-5 year hold? If there are too many stocks, can you please list your top 10 or 12 in priority from the list?

Q: These four companies are all AI-predominant companies, all are growing revenues at about 20% per year or so, have similar market caps, and are coming into profitability for the first time either last year or next.
My question is a difficult one: is there any way to tell what operating margins might eventually be for each of these companies say in 3-4 years? Do you know any way to get this projection? And how these may be ranked for eventual margins if so? Thanks.

Q: I am using PLTR as an example. When looking at “potential” growth in a company, I assume it is useful to look at “current” PE “future” PE (as one metric). From the G&M watchlist I get 304 and 156 respectively for PLTR. From a growth standpoint this may suggest a potential 2x share increase IF the company meets targets. Is this correct? For my benefit what is the PE definition shown under “PLTR Profile” on the 5i site as it gives a PE of 246?
