Q: What is your current opinion/outlook on this company. If you had to switch it for another company in a portfolio, which would it be (can be US, you can suggest more than one, registered accound so no taxes implied in a switch)

Q: My two US industrial companies just reported. The SYX results looked quite good to my inexperienced eye. Not so sure about XYL even though it was advertised as a beat. XYL basically has not beaten earnings in the last year or so and I am wondering if there are better US opportunities. I do hold SIS, TFII, CAE and WSP but overall am a bit underweight industrials. Any suggestions?

Q: XYL had pulled back almost 30% since its highs in February. I understand its one of your favorite industrial (water theme) stocks. Would you please shed some lights on why it didn't bounce back like most stocks did since March 8. Also is it a good time to add to a half position?
Cheers,

Q: hello 5i:
could you give me 3 ideas for "best in class" Industrial, US stocks? And possibly a short thesis on why you think so. RTX and GD are already owned in this sector.
thanks

Q: I have US cash to deploy and want to do so gradually in stages. I am already well invested in US Tech and I also have decent positions in COST and AMZN. Could you recommend some other US companies - those that have been unfairly punished by the virus that could be good long term investments. Also looking for some international exposure.
Thank you,
PD

Q: Hello, in the Company profile section for XYL, just besides the quote at the top we can see a red letter R that says "restriction started today" we need to put our cursor over the red R to see it (Xylem Inc. New (XYL:US) $ 59.61↓5.52 | -8.48% R). What does "restriction started today" mean? Thanks, Gervais

Q: My 22 year-old is slowly building and has a fully contributed 8 stock TFSA portfolio that includes GSY, KXS, PHO, PBH, SIS, BAM.A, CNR and TOY. Given his long timeframe (ideally, decades) this current market chaos will be far behind him by the time he will want to access the funds. That being the case, can you suggest a couple of names where he can direct this year’s TFSA contribution or are there some of his current holdings that you would add to instead of, or in addition to, any new positions?
Many thanks for your help.
Bruce

Q: Recent XYL results and the stock drops 7%. I've held for years and it has been one of my more volatile and poorer performing stocks. Yet even after today's action I'm up 15%.

I really want to own XYL largely b/c I firmly believe we'll need more 'engineered' water solutions. However, I'm ready to sell and try something different.

Please tell me why I should continue to hold XYL and not sell to buy WAT, AWK, DHR or and ETF like PHO.

Thx.

Q: I would like to buy a stock or ETF that deals with water treatment, possibly desalination, or purifying water. This would be a US holding, but not necessarily aimed at treating water in the US. What suggestions might you have? I thought about American WaterWorks, and would like an idea of what else is out there, especially for desalination treatment. Thank you.
