Q: Hi 5i,
Can you provide three US health related stocks that are in different areas of the healthcare field, that you would currently buy?
Thanks
Terry

Q: I'm trying to understand the complicated US Health Care system! Are HUM and UNH competitors? From a stock purchase perspective, would you be buyers of either/both these companies? If not them, what are your favourite health care stocks in the US?
Thanks!

Q: Good morning everyone. Would you beable to give me a few ideas of value stocks and also growth stocks that will be moving in this market. If you have time possibly in both Canadian and US mkarkets. Enjoy reading all your articles. Thank you for all your insight.

Q: You had previously given the following criteria to judge momentum stocks: "For momentum we like a rising stock price with increasing volume, positive earnings surprises, accelerating earnings, analysts' upgrades and target prices. "

Would I be correct in assuming that in the current markets, we need to think more like value investors, however, than momentum investors? If my observation is correct how does one then analyze value stocks?

Appreciate your insight.

Q: Good afternoon,
Looking to add US healthcare to my portfolio. I would appreciate your thoughts and ranking on the following US healthcare and service providers; MCK, BDX, SYK, UNH, HUM and MDT. I am open to other recommendations.
Thank you,

Q: Hi,

I'm looking for 2 lo-volatility US healthcare picks for the next few years, can you choose one of these (CNC, WCG, UNH, AET, CVS, CI, ANTM,HCP) or any others you prefer?

Second question is there an area of healthcare you think I should stay away from for the next (probably volatile) year?

Q: Hello team,

In your answer to Peter, you listed the above companies for a healthcare watch list. Sorry to corner you by asking about your favorite and why?

CVS is cheap and has long-term promise, but I bet your choice will be between ANTM and HUM based on management. Will you endorse both for purchase in the near future? Why or why not?

Or will you prefer something completely outside this list?

Many thanks for your invaluable objectivity and guidance!

Q: Hi 5i team,
Canadian financials account for 24% of our portfolio and 2% of this is in MFC in my TFSA account. I've held it for a number of years and I am up 50%. Presently, our total holdings are 60% Canada; 30% US and 10% International. I am thinking of selling MFC and replacing it with a US ETF or a fairly safe growth stock. I only have 1% in healthcare (split evenly between VHT and UNH in TFSA account) and am considering topping up based on MFC sale. Would appreciate your thoughts on this move. Thanks.

Q: I have been watching BA, UNH, V and MSFT for well over a year, they have all been growing their stock price at an impressive rate for over 5 years or more, and now wonder whether they have finally come down to a point where one could look to buy them with a margin of safety?

Q: Hello Folks:
My only health care stock is a 7% weighting of JNJ. I am considering adding UNH... would you think this prudent with this stock’s PE at 23%. What is your view on JNJ; would it be reasonable to fund a UNH purchase by selling some JNJ or would you use other money?
Thanks again for your “most valuable service”!
