Q: Hello. A forced choice request. I have been tracking these 6 captionally noted US stocks for some time. At the moment I have capital to invest in three new positions. My interest is in growth, and I'm planning to hold for min 5 to max 10 years. Clearly, I'm an investor and not a trader. From this list, which 3 stocks would you anticipate might hold the best prospects for continued growth over that time span. Thanks!

Q: This a follow-up to our TFSA question dated August 24, 2021, and specifically relates to the 5i suggested list of 10 US stocks.

Of the 10, we have so far initiated positions in GRMN, LULU and REGN.

As we already have a substantial position in V (and MA), please suggest an alternative, perhaps in payment services, such SQ, AFRM or PYPL. Also, please suggest an entry point.

For the remainder, NVDA, DG, GOOG, JPM, CRWD and APPS, please rank them in terms of conviction and for each, suggest an entry point.

Q: Good morning!

I hold a 1/2 position in Magna. I do believe in this stock longterm. With the shortages and things appearing to be priced in. Is it time to top up to a full position?

On a separate question what are your highest conviction growth pics in TECH for the 4Q.
Preferably US but can spribkle some Canadian names as well.

Q: After a seemingly sunny day today (OCT 21) in the market -- including for each of the stocks listed -- something must have happened after the trading day ended. Tech stocks especially dropping into the red in After Hours trading. FB almost -6%; TTD -5%; APPS and ROKU -3% each. And those are just the more noteworthy ones. I cant seem to find any mention (as yet) in the press. Inquiring minds would like to know. Thanks.

Q: I would like to purchase NVDA in a cash account and need to sell one of my other stocks to do this. currently own CRWD , APPS , ROKU ,VEEV , and MITK. Up on all stocks with the exception of ROKU. my thought is to sell Roku to accomplish this. Could you rank in order of potential.

Q: APPS continues to perform well, despite production concerns by AAPL. And if AAPL is having problems getting parts then you know everyone else is having a harder time.

How does APPS continue to outperform if sales of new phones aren't what they could be?

Q: I have not had funds to start a position in APPS until today after trimming some gainers that have grown too big in my portfolio (all 5i suggestions so thank you very much!). APPS has had quite the run in the past month (up 30%). Do you see this as a BUY today? Has it run too far? Do you recommend initiating a position today or would wait for a pull back (suggest a good entry point)? Do you still like this one for the long term?

Q: Thanks to rising oil prices, I have cashed out of an oil stock at the original price paid 5 years ago. I feel lucky to have done so as this is a sector I wish to avoid. This makes my TFSA ( small part of total portfolios and is my fun money ) 50 % cash.
Knowing that momentum is important to you, what are your thoughts on the momentum of the S&P 500 ? The growthy small caps seem to be out of favour at the moment. Do I wait until market sentiment has changed back or look at other larger growth stocks ? Your 3 suggestions for a risk oriented TFSA is appreciated. Derek

Q: Markets are going through a correction the past couple of weeks, particularly today (Tuesday). Tech is being hit hard. Can we have your assessment of the situation and what you see unfolding in the next few months? Do you view this as a buying opportunity or is it too early for this? Q: Retired I am a growth inclined investor. I have AAPL and PYPL in my taxable account for over a year and have bought and sold AAPL twice in the past 5 years. AAPL has been very good to me. The current evaluation I find is expensive. There would be a tax impact but I have no other choice but to sell either PYPL or AAPL to make room for APPS. Would you make the switch or not and if so, which security would you sell?
