Q: Hi, Could you please compare the two companies with respect to nature of their business, safety, income and growth prospects. I know, Enbridge also has a utility like natural gas delivery business to residential/businesses, not sure of TRP. Could you also comment on their historical stock performance, relative to each other. Do you think one is better than the other? We own ENB for many years and are considering to add TRP to our portfolio for income and growth, for 10-20 years. Thank You

Q: would appreciate your opinion on these cruise lines, Thank you. Fooklin
Q: I've been a past investor and have been keeping an eye out for this for many years now. Is this a good entry point you think or do you think interest rates need to have stabilized given their debt profile?
Q: Good afternoon,
How would you play the water theme, with a focus on innovation and solutions to increasing stress on water systems worldwide? Would CWW or PHO be best suited?
I own AQN and HEO currently, know you like XYL too. Any other individual companies you would recommend? I know WWT is a microcap but do you think it has potential or is it too small for now?
Thanks in advance.

Q: I have never owned a REIT but started looking at a couple. In doing so I realized that I really don’t know what to evaluate in a REIT (beyond type of asset - land, commercial, residential, specialty) and things I normally see as red flags may not be here. Can you tell me a few of the most important fundamentals to look at when comparing REITS (negatives to watch out for specifically, and positive indicators). For example my initial concerns were steady increases on common shares outstanding (seems acceptable and typical of all REITS) and what debt levels are acceptable. If you could tag your favourite REITS today I would appreciate. I have only looked at LAND and IIPR so far.
Q: This was on BNN top picks. Irish company. Interesting they are on TSX. Thoughts on the company?
Q: This company is one of your growth portfolio holding. It has fallen to 5.72 in the recent down turn in market. Does your analysis and the company fundamentals are the same when you added it to the growth portfolio? I will appreciate you review.

Q: Hi
I refer to the question from Ian concerning XYLD.
In our RRSP accounts EQL represents 17% of our holdings.
As retirement is fast approaching I am thinking of splitting our EQL holdings with XYLD, for the dividend.
Would this make sense?
Thank you for your time
Mike

Q: Wow, it appears that there will be further, possibly much further decline in stock prices over the next while. That got me thinking/wondering about trimming of selling Canadian stock held in the TFSA....and these stocks are also held in a trading and registered account. Some, like ATZ and PBH are in the consumer discretionary sector, a sector that might be considered more risky in the current market setting. An others, like GSY that is the loan business, a subsector of the financial sector. And finally, there is industrials like TFII, and a US position in TT that also sells into Europe which is in turmoil. This is a sample of the holds that are still in a gain position. Would you consider trimming back to a more risk appropriate weighting, selling the ones in TFSA and avoid income tax or just hold and ride it out???....Thanks for your insight....Tom
Q: On Aug 8 DOO announced cyberattack & 5days ago data leak. What is the impact? Note a 5.86% drop to $94.94 from $102.13 on friday, which was terrible day for markets. Reports on Sep 2 & invariably beat estimates. In light of the supply constraint issues,do U think it will beat estimates. Txs for u usual great services & views
Q: Hi, following up on Mark's 3M on August 29. You suggested it might be time to move on from MMM. Any suggestions of what to replace it with if held? Thank you. Michael
Q: I have oil and gas sector holdings in ERF, SU, CPG and TOU. I would like to allocate some more money to this sector. What are your favorites in this sector now, and why ?
Thanks,

Q: I would like your interpretation and opinion of Lantronix's results. They seemed reasonably good to me but were punished hard. IT and IoT seems like a good sector to be in so I have held on. Is there just one analyst?
Thank you.
Thank you.
Q: Hi, What's your opinion on TC Energy, for income and some growth, and with a bias to indirectly benefit from Oil and Natural Gas prices ? TRC recently acquired an interest in a Mexican pipeline and stock had an overhang due to a large equity issue, which seems to be slowly dissipating now. Stock has nice dividend yield of over 5.5% and analysts generally appear to be positive, on the stock, specially after the new acquisition. How is the current valuation and do you believe that debt is manageable? Is it a decent buy at current level - $65 - $65.50 ? Thanks
Q: What are your thoughts on CREW Energy? How would you rank it amongst it's peers? Is this a position you would recommend for the mid to long term?
Q: Interested to note you selected TCN as one of three Canadian stocks you would overweight for a 2-3 hold. How would you compare TCN to MG in terms of risks and total return over the same period? For an investor with a balanced portfolio, which would you recommend? Thank you.
Q: Can I please get your opinion on LithiumBank.
