Q: QCOM How do you interpret the recent gap down after it reported its earnings on Feb 04? What is your view about this company in the future? Is it a good time to add?
Q: Five below just keep climbing… do you think it is in overvalued territory now ? It is a good winner for me so far … should I just let the party go on in your opinion ?
Q: Hi 5i team!
Looking at the yield of this Hamilton new strategy, is the 17-20% dividend sustainable ? Will the price fall at some point or will they have to lower the dividend ?
Q: What advice would you give to a shareholder of Vizsla, regarding the tragic abduction and killing of some employees in what is apparently a cartel-controlled part of Mexico? Sell? Hold? The stock has seen a big hit in the last few days.
Q: What are your thoughts on this company? They own some great brands like Moen..Please let me know on their finances and future prospects also does it look cheap or expensive? Thanks.
Q: Buy, sell or hold and if hold, do you think this stock has good growth potential? If one has a gain would it be worth moving on if underweight Europe/Developed markets which are doing well. Already overweight banks. Thank you!
Q: Hi Folks,
I am looking to add either CNQ or EIF to my RRSP account. May I have your opinion as to which one you would recommend today. Looking for stability and some growth.
Thanks
Q: If you believe that the AI bubble will burst this year how might you position your portfolio to profit? I imagine picking defensive names, not owning companies with direct AI exposure, and owning precious metals is a start. If the bubble burst I would assume this would trigger a broader market selloff so not sure if there is a lot of places to hide. Would you consider any Put option strategies? Are there any other sectors/companies that would actually benefit from the bubble bursting? Thanks
I would a conservative GIC or HISA for CASH remaining in an RESP account, last child about to start 2nd 4 year degree, so it will get used up in the next 4 years.
I presently use BMO investorline. Please let me know what options I have for best GIC OR HISA available , I am not against switching out to another institution i.e. wealth simple.
Q: I was watching Blake Hilgemann talk about his 'descent' portfolio which he says has a safe 6% withdrawal rate for retirement vs the standard 4%. It's made up of 15% gold, 15% LT Bonds, 10% Utilities, 10% Real Estate, 20% Large cap stocks, 20% small cap value stocks, and 10% international stocks. Wondering what your take is on this. Also not sure how one's house factors into this...is it part of the RE % (likely more than 10%).
Q: What to do with $10864 in TFSA? At 74 years I exist on a public sector DB pension.
Transitioning my TFSA to be more growth focused. 14 holdings currently, major ones being BN, TRI, TFII, TVK, KXS, TOI, EQB, LMN, DSG, PNG, DRX, REAL, S, EGLX. Also have 41 equities in much larger balanced dividend growth non-reg account but Brookfield Group is pushing 15% of total portfolio with overall 65% Canada exposure. Overall below sector targets in consumer cycle, health, RE, Industrial, Utilities as well as International exposure.
Realizing you cannot get personal but I am looking for another viewpoint on how to use the funds in TFSA this year besides adding more Brookfield or software or financials. With available funds could only add 4 units of CSU anyway.
Q: Do you consider all of these companies to be core holdings? Of the ones you consider to be core holdings, please rank them (highest first) and give some explanation for your choices. Much appreciated. ram
