Q: Im inerested in investing in the modernnization of electrical infrastructure in Canada and the United States. Please. suggest a number of excellent companies that you believe will be leaders in this modernization process.

Q: DND is up 16% currently. After its repurchase of shares do you anticipate the share price will drop back to 11.50 or will it sustain its gain.

Not trying to ask you to be a fortune teller but just share your experience with what has happened to other company share prices in this instance.


want to know if I should take advantage of this jump in price.

Q: Peter, it is my understanding that all three of these companies now have very low debt. They also have a very low p.e. They also have a very long reserve life. Is it true that renewable energy is many years away from being a viable solution for energy for the world? The share price for renewables has certainly shown that. ie. RNW Algonquin.
Is this huge drop in these energy companies due to the no more piplelines and no case for LGN, the Trudeau effect. Are these three companies still overpriced?? What would be a good entry point?? Is not a 9.5% div on Peyto the same as a 12% GIC after tax is calculated?? I would like your opinion on these questions Thanks Ken

Q: Good morning - reading about the 10pc withholding on US publicly traded partnerships and the US tax filing requirement to get the wh back. I have positions in two REITs in the US and wonder if I shouldn't bail right now and avoid the filing requirement. Also, part of my holdings are in registered accounts and this does not look good to me. Please advise. Thanks as usual.

I just read a negative research report on Guardant Health in Seeking Alpha, suggesting it may not be returning to its growth premium anytime soon. If you were to have a change of mind on seeing it as a HOLD, can you suggest a few compelling replacements from your current US high-growth list of favourites (within or outside of this sector)?
