BMO MSCI USA High Quality Index ETF (ZUQ $91.47)
-
BMO S&P 500 Index ETF (ZSP $97.81)
-
Vanguard U.S. Total Market Index ETF (VUN $119.47)
Q: Hi, I am looking to invest a new half position in SLF or add to a half position in PBH. Would you favour one over the other today? I don’t mind risk, I favour growth, but am slightly light weight in financials.
Also, I currently hold VUN in my RRSP. After reading the ETF fund update, would you recommend switching to ZSP or ZUQ? I recognize the withholding tax advantage of the other two over VUN. Is that alone worth the switch?
Thank you.

Lightspeed Commerce Inc. Subordinate Voting Shares (LSPD $16.99)
Q: Which do you currently like better for growth. I must admit hearing that SHOP has started down the POS road makes me slightly nervous about LSPD. On the other hand LSPD has a lot of cash DSG a little debt. We also own SHOP, KXS,TEAM,NVDA,CSU,AYX in the tech space. Would be selling LSPD for a tax loss if you think DSG is better.
Q: AX.UN,BEI.UN ,CUF.UN ,EXE, ,IIP.UN, PLC, This are my big looser,What is your opinion
and if sell which one or all?

Q: My Virtual Brokers account still shows shares of Guestlogix (gxi:ca) and Newnote Financial (neu:ca). Both companies went out of business several years ago. Can I get anything for these, ie some bankrupsy settlement? Should they be removed and junked, or is there any benefit to do nothing and wait?
Q: Good Morning Peter & team,
Once only thought of as a European/Asia market phenomenon, There is talk we could see negative interest rates in Canada in the next year. Technicals for the big banks are all similar - the beginning of a recovery last week in March as things started turning around then, plateau. Still higher highs and higher lows but not the same recovery as the Markets in general.
I own TD & BNS. I have read your comments on both. Do you feel these are worth holding? Do you think Negative rates could happen? And if so what effect could we expect on the big banks?
Thanks for all you do.

Q: Read your report on PHO. Curious about the rating. On your sidebar you have a rating of B+ but overall rating of B-. Why is the meaning of the difference between these 2 "ratings"?
Q: I currently have no exposure to technology. What ETF's would you recommend in order to start a position?
Q: Hi Peter...I am trying to make a case to myself for buying either KL or AEM. I have no "Material" stocks. I have been reading the questions and responses on AEM and KL. If I understand you correctly you like both companies almost equally. Both have solid financials and excellent management. Both operate mines in what are considered safe jurisdictions. KL I think operates a mine in Argentina so there is a slight risk increase due to that mine's location. KL has another risk due to the acquisition of Detour, a low grade, high volume open pit mine. KL will somehow need to make Detour more profitable and there are doubts KL will have success.
AEM is charting better than KL currently. Morningstar shows KL as being slightly undervalued. If Detour can be made more profitable then KL's stock should be able to better match AEM's performance.
If you can be said to favour one company over another I think you would side with KL because of its potential to make Detour more profitable.
On a macro level with low inflation we will have low interest rates and an increase in the money supply which should be good for gold as a commodity. Our Covid-19 fears I think play well into the emotional need to own gold.
Please correct me if I have misunderstood you.
Thank you,
Jim

Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P. (BIP.UN $42.44)
-
Brookfield Infrastructure Corporation Class A Exchangeable Subordinate Voting Shares (BIPC $55.92)
Q: How would you determine the fair value of the premium that the BIPC shares should trade over the BIP.UN? What do you think of the current spread?
Q: Hi Team, presently I'm in he negative with HONEYWELL. Would this be a good time to add or should I initiate a position in RTX. I thank-you in advance, Sam
Q: Hello, with all the recent debt taken on by governments all over the world, this has kind of brought gold into the spotlight as a possible “safe haven” do you think Paul Tudor Jones strong endorsement of bitcoin would be a competitor for investment dollars in that space or am just misreading this
Also do you think with this tremendous amount of government and consumer debt load,do you think gold could be a good investment going forward for at least a possible 1-3 years and maybe even much longer depending on when balance sheets of governments start to look better thanks

Q: I OWN BEP.UN AND IT IS NOW 14% OF MY POTFOILIO when it was 10% i was going to sell but let it run. I know its not like csu but it has had a good run if people had sold csu when it reached 10% of there portfolio they would not have had the gains they did. So the question is when to sell. so is it time to sell and rebalance portfolio or let it ride. If i sell then what to replace it with still pays a decent dividend. I am a dividend investor.
Q: National Bank has downgraded DOO to sector perform today.
They are expecting an EPS of .02 far short of the consensus of .33.
Despite this, they also say that Polaris (in a similiar field) is holding
up better than expected?
Have you seen this report and is there a chance that they may miss that badly?
Thanks
