Q: Trying to reduce the number of stocks I hold. Currently I am broadly diversified across sectors and large cap/small cap, growth/dividend payers, so those are not concerns. I look at total return, and have a long term horizon, 5+ years. Comfortable with risky stocks. I have smallish positions in these 12 stocks and would like to sell maybe 6 to 8 of them, and redeploy the money into a few of the others on the list or into some of my other holdings. Would you select 6 - 8 of the above that you think are less likely to perform well over 5+ years, and could be sold, and maybe 2 - 4 that could be added to. Thank you.

Q: I have a question about QIS. They've had really positive news recently. The stock responded by moving to new highs. That said, the price action is happening on low volume (16 K shares today). Looking at the valuation (Price/Sales, Price/Earnings for example), the price seems extended. counter that with seemingly very high growth. What do you think is a reasonable price or valuation to assign to this company given the growth profile.

Q: Starting a new portfolio of higher risk stocks to offset my more strategic long term investments. I have listed several juniors that are either in your Growth Portfolio or have been lately receiving considerable attention. Would appreciate your comments, order of preference & recommandations. Please deduct whatever number of credits you feel appropriate. Thank you.

Q: Filed on sedar yesterday was a disclosure that a US Fund owns 11% of the shares of Quorum Information Technologies (TSXV: QIS). It appears that this institutional investor has been buying this stock over the last year through Cantor Fitzgerald Securities. For such a small but profitable and growing Company, is this good sign when a US institutional investor is taking a big stake in a micro cap Canadian software company?
