Q: Could you provide an update on Liberty Gold, in particular its cash on hand, insider holdings and recent activity, recent exploration results if any, and its potential as a junior exploration company. Its price has steadily declined over the past year and am wondering if it's time to sell, buy more, or just hold. Thanks.

Q: Between CJ and WCP which one is more likely to attain a higher combined return for a three year hold?

At the moment CJ (7.7%) has a much higher yield than WCP (5.00%). Are these rather high yields sustainable over a three year run?

Q: Hello I am considering buying SLF at these levels $57 to $59 with a dividend yield of 4.75%.
I want to hold these shares for a minimum of 3 years, but more likely into the 5 year range.
I know this is a difficult question to ask, but based on your experience, how much downside % do you think this stock has?
I would like to buy in allotments over the next 3 months.

Q: Deal terms are not yet available for the WFG buyout, I own 150 shares, bought at 113/share a few weeks back.

What are your initial thoughts? Hold and tender to the bid (whatever it is, presumably higher than $125 CAD/share)? Hold out for a white knight (seems unlikely)? Sell now and capture the gain in case the deal falls apart?

Something else?

Q: Could you please give your view on how to differentiate the advantages (licencing, moats, etc.) of the multitude of sports betting companies now in operation? It seems that the non-listed organizations like the BCLC affiliated PlayNow have ramped up smartly in recent times, especially since the availability of single game wagering came into existence locally. It seems like the BCLC are well-equipped and well-established at this point to grow and compete with any existing or prospective challengers in all aspects of gambling, including internet opportunities.

Q: I've been sitting on my Q2 div revenues waiting for things to settle a bit. Looking to add to one off the 3 positions X, TD, SLF. Balanced/Income portfolio follower, moving towards income follower. 5+ yr hold. Conversely if there is a holding in the Income portfolio that is a screaming buy right now I would consider adding to that position or starting a new position if I don't already own it.
