Q: Could you comment on the latest earnings from Spin Master. They look good (supported by analysts from TD and RBC) and in addition, they also introduced a quarterly dividend (something that you always like to see). Very surprised that the SP dropped but would appreciate your views.
Q: I'm down on these stocks, what are your thoughts currently and prospects going forward? Buy, sell, hold, add? They've all become less than 1.5% positions. Thanks!
Q: Could you suggest a couple of Canadian companies leveraged to copper, noting key strengths? Then a couple of additional ones based on downside protection if commodity cycle rolls over?
Thanks in advance.
Q: Hi team! I have held those 2 for over 2 years. Down over 70+ % . I am thinking to sell and buy alphabet for 2 to 5 years. Your thoughts and some conservative predictions if you were in my situation? Thanks !
Q: Noting the recent results from Shell I am very surprised the stock has not popped today (July 28). You thoughts and if I should add a bit more to my holdings. Total energy exposure is about 8% of my portfolio (own PXT, NRGI, and TVE as well).
Q: I understand this company is involved in ev charging facilities and ask if this would be a good position in terms of participating in the growing ev space. Also your general info and info on the strength and financial stability
Cheers, Doug
Q: If one holds foreign companies via an ADR on the NYSE and the US dollar plummets, is the investor ‘protected’ in any way? Stock price? Dividend? I’m wondering what is the best way to hold investments in foreign companies.
Q: Growth focused investor, high tolerance for volitility, trade very little, seems buy and hold works much better for me, except in the above mentioned stocks. I'm down 50% or more in them all. Stocks are held in either TFSA or RRSP. Considering getting rid of one or all, reentering LSPD? If you were selling, what stocks and what order?
Q: I will have to raise cash by December 30th for a mandatory RIF withdrawal. I will sell from this group of stocks. I assume it is better to retain the stocks with the highest growth potential. So in what order would you sell?
Thanks for all you folks do. You keep me a confident DIY investor... especially during troubled times.
I understand that techs like SHOP, LSPD, NVEI and CTS are riskier stocks than the average TSX stock.
Would you say GSY is as risky, or as I suspect, somewhat less so?
Can you estimate how much less risky, if it is indeed less risky?
Please use a 2 year time frame if possible.
