Thanks,

Q: Good morning. I currently own CGX, MG and BYD.un in the consumer cyclicals (in total represent about 9% of portfolio). I'm considering selling CGX but don't want to add any more to the other 2. Is there another dividend paying company in this sector you would prefer over CGX. Thanks

Q: In a diversified RRSP account I have 10% industrials with positions in XTC, ZCL, NFI, and MG. Have been patient with XTC and can remain so, but do own MG already. The account is more growthy given time to need. Looking for a second opinion on my thought to swap XTC for DOO/CAE/BYD. Would you make the switch? If so to witch name? I don't trade a lot but do watch the names and account fairly closely.

Q: good day...we have not added byd.un to our portfolio as of yet and to do so we would have to lessen our exposure to eci by 1% to make the 2% weighting in byd.un both of these are in tax protected accts at this time...does selling eci to make a full exposure to byd.un make sense at this time...cheers

Q: Hi team,
I wanted to get your opinion on the start of my son's RESP.
BYD 30%, GUD 40%, PHO 15%, CRH 15%
I recently added CRH on what I viewed as a value play, however I'm not sure about this move. Would you swap CRH out, and if so for what? Any suggestions or tips are appreciated.

Keep up the good work. Cheers

Q: Greetings

You read my mind! I have been thinking of taking a position in BYD. To do so, I was planning on selling MX. I know that MX is a favoured stock.

I am not concerned about portfolio balancing but am looking for a bit more stability in my life now that I am retired.

Do you have a preference between these two stocks given my profile?

Thanks

Peter

Q: As a recent subscriber and investor, I note that several stocks that I own have the option of DRIP. My portfolio is large enough that the quarterly dividends allow for a substantial purchase of new or existing additions to stocks, like CAE or Boyd. As the cost of buying the stocks is not overly impactful to the purchase, is foregoing the drip, and the 5% discount, advisable, in order to allow a choice in selecting stock picks?

Thanks. KC

Q: Hi Guys,

Inside my portfolio, my consumer cyclical weighting is over 20%, please rate best to worst;
GIL, MG, BYD.UN, TOY, AYA, CCL & NFI and on the U.S.A. side we have GPC, DIS & HD.
I would like to lower the % to 15%.
thanks,
