Q: Hi Peter,
As a subscriber of the service since 2017 (despite being urged to join at least 2 to 3 years earlier) I am very grateful for the information and education that 5i has provided to me. I have used the balanced portfolio for my road map and couldn't be happier. I was wondering if you would't mind humoring me, and sharing what you view to be the three best selections you have made in that portfolio, the three worst, and the three you wish you had made, dating back to the inception in 2013. A small explantion why would be appreciated. This being Friday, that should give you the weekend to reminisce. Take care and have a great weekend to all of the staff at 5i.

Q: Trying to decide between Topicus and Lumine for a long-term growth portfolio here.
I am digging into both, and finding that Lumine gets around a third of revenue from an acquisition they made called Wideorbit. Wideorbit gets almost all of its revenue from ad selling into radio stations, local TV and National TV networks.
I guess I am worried about how this business model can work long term (my teenagers never watch traditional TV or listen to radio, and cord cutting is quite prevalent apparently). Does this high percentage of revenue worry you in terms of Lumine going forward? Thanks

Q: Can you enlighten me on BEP.UN.
I see a staggering amount of debt, net debt roughly 32.4 billion. Cash from OP around 2.8 billion, which is only around 8.6%. Negative free cash flow. Total Debt/EBITDA around 8x. Interest coverage around 1x.
Thanks Gord

Q: What are your views on Peller's most recent earnings? To me, they look horrible, and I'm wondering if I should just salvage my tax loss and move on. That said, the price is probably at the lowest of the low. How much patience should one extend to the turnaround possibilities?

Q: Good afternoon - I’m overweight in big tech in my TFSA and am planning to do some rebalancing. I’m looking for some non-tech suggestions please. Either US or Canada are fine.

Q: Did not have an opportunity to hear what ECN had to say about their earnings and possible sale of the company. Was there any indication of what direction the strategic review might take and possible timing of any announcement.. Secondly if a takeout does not occur is there anything in terms of future guidance that would provide support for the shares around current levels? Current results appear rather tepid and my concern is that shares could tank without positive news from the strategic review. What is your sense as to what direction the strategic review might take?

Q: Good morning 5i:
Next year I will be retiring, and currently I have the outlined stocks in my RRSP, I'm happy with all of them, I think I would like to sell some of them (or trim down, slowly -no rush) and buy stocks/etf that will provide resilience , some yield, and perhaps some growth , can you please provide me with some ideas, 3 or more , I was thinking BN, add more to VFV.
Please use as many credits as required.
THANK YOU for all your help.

Q: Since AI become news I have been following with interest, however a little reluctant to put my feet into the water, as I am thinking this could be another bubble.
I have reviewed all question on AI companies, and wonder if 5i is going to consider an AI stock for the growth portfolio.
I did own Microsoft, and Apple however sold when the market crashed 2 years ago..
I look forward to reviewing your answer.
Thanks
Rick

Q: I have owned ENB for 6 years / it continues to disappoint. Russ Healy was on BNN saying net overall asset value continues to drop in the last 5 year's and i agree with him as my performance is negative (down 6% in the last 5 years, (this is excluding the dividend . Kindly explain how you continue to recommend this stock as it clearly is a loser in value the dividend is its only advantage... would TRP not be a better risk return or even Fortis / one of the pipes for that matter Thanks for your help with this .
