Q: If looking for an oil & gas producer to introduce to an otherwise o&g-free portfolio, how would you rank these? Is there a glaring omission in my list?

Q: Thoughts on bir’s Earnings?
Q: Hi Team
I am looking for oil companies to invest in, I would like a mid to small cap, company with reasonable debt and fairly decent cash flow. I don't mind taken higher risk with small caps, I just feel that it gives me a better upside, and like I say I don't mind the risk. Would like a little in the oil sands as I see the wti discount is a lot lower than before and have read that the world refineries are short of the heavy oil, not sure if this is true or not. Lastly what gas producers will benefit from the new pipe line and refinery, assuming that the darn thing gets build. I know I have asked a few questions so please take as many credits as you like
Thank-you
Auftar

Q: Hi team. I have a large position in Birchcliff Energy which TDWaterhouse says is an Action list Buy and thinks might reach $7.00 a share in a years time. What do you feel are the prospects for this oil and gas producer? Thanks!
Q: Hi Peter...so in reference to Nariz’s question please confirm you are expecting a giant spike in gas prices this year. It just doesn’t seem like you to expect that!
Thanks,
Jim
Thanks,
Jim
Q: If it to go higher which stocks will benefit? Do you also believe it will be going higher in spring and summer
Q: What do you think of Birchcliff's latest results and outlook? Do you think it is a good buy around this price range ($3.60), or is there another you would strongly prefer to BIR? Thanks.
Q: What three stocks is good buy in the 3.00 to 5.00 dollar range, for 3 years to 5 years?
Q: Good morning Peter, Ryan, and team,
A BNN contributor recently said: "Natural gas will become the best performing commodity and this is clearly being seen by the sharp rise the NYMEX natural gas, as low inventories and colder winter weather affect demand."
Do you agree with this assessment, and if so, what stock(s) do you recommend to take advantage of this trend? Our only energy holdings are ENB and PKI.
Thanks as always for your valued advice.

Q: Could I have your current top 4 or 5 picks in the junior to mid cap Canadian energy sector please. Thanks, Don
Q: My energy setup currently is WCP (2/3) at a loss and BIR (1/3) at a gain. Would you take advantage of tax loss selling on WCP and replace with VET or trim WCP and buy VET as well? What would be your preferred setup?
Q: hi, is there some nat gas producers that have reserves , low debt and are beaten up currently to the point where they may have good upside ? thanks.
Q: my question is as follows, every analyst and pundit i follow says this market downturn will not end until we have a massive flushout day where sellers are exhausted on huge volume with the vix at 30 or so, this has not happened yet so why do you tell members to buy anything, why not just tell them to wait.furthermore going back until 1940 no downturn has ever ended without this flush out.
second question, and i asked this before your five favorites stocks for the next year, i think you had largo, gc, i get these 2 and you had covalon, i was surprised with covalon, do you know something we do not, also could you add 2 more if possible.
and last question oil is so beaten up it seems like it is the ultimate value play, no new capacity, opec might cut ,refineries coming out of maintenance, winter is upon us,so why so negative, i own bte and bir, based on the fact oiland gas has to go higher, and the stocks are priced like oil is 25 bucks.your opinion. take 3credits thanks dave

Q: Good Morning: I hold positions in the above cdn. energy companies and not surprisingly am under water in all of them. Would like to reap the capital losses without being totally out of the sector. I'm looking at one of two possible options: 1, sell these and buy Vermillion; or 2. buy a cdn. etf that focuses on cdn. junior and mid cap oil and gas names. So, first, which of these strategies would you prefer, and second, if an etf, do you have some recommendations. I continue to consider my subscription to your advice and service good value. Thanks for your efforts. Don
Q: What Canadian companies would benefit from the increase in natural gas prices?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Despite a significant recent increase in the price of natural gas, Birchcliff's stock price has not substantially rebounded from its recent low value. Any explanation? Thanks!
Q: Which companies would you recommend in Gas sector ?
Q: Could you please identify which companies would benefit most from a rising natural gas price? Also address the overall financial strength, dividend sustainability ( if applicable ) and general robustness of your picks. Thank you.
Q: Any suggestions on how to benefit from the recent rise in Natural Gas prices?
It seems like things are still pretty hopeless in Canadian energy despite huge gains in natural gas prices.
