Q: Hi, I own Parex, Gear, Trican, Pason, Advantage and Prairiesky in small percentages for this sector . Collectively, I am about breakeven. I would like to consolidate into two or three holdings. Of these, what would be your preference? Overall total return is the objective.
I have also seen Terravest mentioned as a favourite compounder in the same sector in the Q&A, Is this a new entity or did they do a recent name change from a former company. Is this a more preferred name vs the others mentioned?

Cheers,
Steve

Q: With most stocks drifting lower, can you find and name a few stocks you like with good upward momentum? Doesn't matter of size/sector. Thanks.

Q: High growth stocks. A recent NP piece by Peter H. advised investors consider these vs. conservative picks coming out of a bear market. "Stocks that used to be 50X sales are now 3X sales and still growing at 50%+...a Bloomberg screen shows 982 companies with 50% sales growth in the next year."

Could you provide 10 Cdn. stocks in this category or better yet provide a link to the Bloomberg screen. Thanks.

Q: Good day 5i Team,

I'm wondering if I can get your opinion on AAV, I own this in a basket of oil and gas stocks including MEG, BTE, CPG, TVE, WCP, NVA, TVE, CJ, HWX however this one has been noticably underperforming over the past few months and I'm not cernian why. Any thoughts? Would you dump it in favor of another or add the proceeds to the existing list?

Thanks as always.

Dave

Q: Prior to the above companies announcing 3rd. quarter earnings you indicated that bir probably had the most upside. Now that they have all reported is your view still the same. I hold all of the above, but feel free to recommend other companies in the oil and gas sector. Thanks for excellent service. Ken

Q: Canadian Natural Gas producers seem wildly undervalued (to me anyway...) Checking my thesis here: Natural Gas netbacks are showing 40% increases over last year, and 2020 was almost 80% higher than 2019. Carbon sequestration makes maximum sense as an alternative revenue stream, and it appears at least one company (AAV) is doing just that. Valuation multiples remain very low (which is fine if one is going to invest) but it remains puzzling to me. Am I missing something? Or are all hydrocarbon stocks being re-rated (lower) due to ESG concerns? Are O&G stocks the new "Tobacco" stocks (this reference may dates me somewhat...) Any high level thoughts here to help me in decision making?
