Q: Hi there - between these two beaten up stocks, which would you be more bullish on? And if there is another stock that's not these two that you'd be even more bullish on, which would that be? Thank you!

Q: I know 5i doesn't like to give portfolio weighting advice so I will approach this is a different way ..... Hypothetical situation . YOU have a RRIF with no fixed income component. You have chosen HPYT to represent that sector . You would be comfortable between "X" and no more than "Y" weighting of HPYT ..... Please solve the equation and provide a value for X and Y ? .... Thanks for your terrific service .....
Q: For growth this year, AEM (on the CAD or US side) vs. GLD?
Q: Hi
I read your answer on TVE that one could slowly acquire shares of TVE during this weakness.
How about WCP? Is it interesting at these levels? Between the two, which one would you buy first today?
Thanks,
Robert

Q: Hi, can you please comment on their recent quarters?
Anything to be concerned about with either company going forward?
I have owned both for several years (full positions) but SIS has seen a bit of slow growth (for me) the last year and I'd like to reduce to a 1/2 position. Can you please suggest an alternate stock(s) (any sector) given today's environment that should offer better growth potential.
Cheers,
Steve

Q: Regarding the superficial loss question that V asked on March 5, in his case since they bought the stocks on Feb 3 and sold at a loss on Feb 10 ( i.e. less than 30 days), would it imply superficial loss by default?
Maybe they could buy the same stock again and adjust their ACB? What would be the rule that apply in this case regarding ACB adjustment, number of days, etc... ?

Q: Sales are a record, back orders are strong... is this company finally getting ready for better days. Wha do you see here?
Q: Would appreciate your analysis of NGD in Comparison to NFG!
Would you invest in either and which one has the best profile going forward in these uncertain times?
Thanx

Q: Could you comment on the Q here for Savaria. Would you be comfortable purchasing here?
Q: Hi,
Can you explain the drop in the USD yesterday? Seems like a larger than normal move and certainly of a size that makes one sit up an notice in a portfolio with USD holdings. Would you advise exchanging USD back to Cdn dollars at this time? Assume this is cash and not specific holdings.
Thanks!

Q: Hi team,
I am looking to invest for my kids resp. Currently only hold a balanced fund and Ppl which I bought in the 2020 collapse. Now I am wondering about buying a quality stock which has been unjustifiably (as far as we can tell) sold off in the recent sell off of growth names. I am thinking of Prl. Would you consider it safe enough to invest in a resp account? I also note that its div is decent while I wait for recovery . I have about 4-5 years before I would have to sell it . If you don’t think Prl is a good fit do you have better suggestions ?
Thanks ,
Shane

Q: Your thoughts on the company and latest quarterly results. Thanks
Q: Is this a buy at these levels?
Q: Any reason for the 7% drop in Crowdstrike today. Buy more, hold or sell?
Thanks Dave.
Thanks Dave.
Q: If you had no exposure to the oil and gas sector, would you be a buyer of some Canadian companies at this time? Or would you be inclined to wait out some of the tariff noise? If so, what conservative large cap companies would you focus on? Thanks, J
Q: In my non-registered account, If I buy 10 stocks of XYZ (new to the account )on Feb 3 and sell all 10 stocks at a loss on Feb 10. when is the soonest that I can buy the stock again to avoid superficial loss?
March 13 is 31 days after Feb 10.
April 5 is 61 days from Feb 3.
April 12 is 61 days from Feb 10.
My confusion stems from the 60/61 day restrictions. I understand the 30/31 day restrictions.
Also, if I still own XYZ in other accounts (TFSA, RESP, RRSP), could such a sale be considered superficial loss?

Thanks
