Q: Can you comment on these ETF's I presently hold in a corporate unregistered acct. I have a large amount in DVY.US - not sure why (previously with a FI ) Looking to update this portfolio based on present times. In At least a 5 year hold. Please take as many credits as needed.

I am looking to re-enter the market in a non registered account with minimal input from myself.
I have considered both VBAL and MAW 105 ( tax effective balance).

Q: Unfortunately I bought shares in AYX in February, near its all time high and have experienced a significant loss. It is off its deepest low since March but even with a 5% increase today it is presently still below its best recovery since then. What is your view on its prospects for when the economy solidifies to a recovery - is theirs the sort of product line that will attract good business? Is there reasonable prospect for upside? I see an answer to a question today referred to it having high risk; is there more down side than upside? If you were me, would you move on? And if so, what would be something with more potential and less risk (I know, those sometimes are seen to be mutually exclusive, but perhaps there is something)? Thanks for your excellent service.

Q: Hello 5i Team
Northview REIT (NVU) has issued the Management Information Circular for the proposed takeover of NVU by Starlight and Kingsett Capital at a price of $36.25.
Please advise on the following questions:
1 - As no other offer came forward during the go shop period, I am assuming the $36.25 per unit offer will be the best and final offer current shareholders will receive.
2 - Which is the best option to select: OPTION 1 —ALL-CASH ELECTION or OPTION 2 —HIGH YIELD FUND SUBSCRIPTION ELECTION and if Option 2 is selected which percentage of the Unit Election should be selected (refer to the Letter of Transmittal and Election Form).
3 - Reviewing the Management Information Circular, the High Yield Fund looks like the original Northern Properties REIT prior to the 2015 takeover of the True North Apartment REIT. Essentially it looks like Starlight Capital (Mr. Drimmer) is buying back what they sold in 2015. What is 5i's view on this?
4 - I noticed Credit Suisse Securities (Canada), Inc. has become a 9.95 % holder of NVU - do you think they are playing the arbitrage between their purchase price and the offer price?

Q: Shopify has grown to be 12% of my portfolio ( thanks to 5i ) and as a result I need to sell some shares. I was wondering what companies you would recommend as a replacement . Would also appreciate your comments on MDF Mediagrif and TCS Tecsys.

( She has no experience with investing or an FA) What is the most cost efficient way for her to transfer this sizeable amount money into Canadian currency? Q: Hi group recently I bought a Canadian bank along with BAC + JP Morgan since then it has gone down every day. The rally appears to be over or at least adjusting what is you view on these 2 banks I am down 10% in the last week- buy sell or hold ? thanks for you views on US banks
