Q: Which of these two would you prefer?

Q: I currently have a 4% (total portfolio) position in ARKK in my TFSA. Down some 4.5%. Considering replacing it with equal positions in two other US techs, possibly PINS and NVDA. I already hold GOOG, CROWD, ADOBE, MSFT and AMZN.
1) Would you hold the course with ARKK?
2) If not, which two US techs would you replace it with today?

And on an unrelated topic, I own (and am exceedingly happy with) EGLX. Like GOOG, it is considered to be in the Communications sector. For my portfolio purposes, I would like to assign all or part of EGLX to consumer cyclical. Does this make sense?

Q: I have a considerable position in AQN and a small position in BEP.UN. In examing the one-year performance of the three companies I calculate that AQN's stock price is flat, BEP.UN is up about 40% and NPI is up about 45%. Would you recommend selling the laggard, AQN, and investing the proceeds into one or both of NPI and BEP.UN. Also is there a company in this sector that you would prefer over these three?

Q: K92 Mining has a very successful gold mine in Papau New Guinea ! They expect to issue a detailed expansion of their next project in the second half of 2021 and hope to achieve ASC of less than $400 per ounce by 2024 with a doubling of production.
ABX just settled a dispute with the country and K92 responded positively. The company has no Debt and more than $60,000,000 in cash. The CEO has a successful history of buying out other miners in the past and is surveying the market for opportunities in other countries such as nearby Australia. Meanwhile the expansion is fully funded out of cash flow.
This stock has gone up on average at least 100% each year over the last five years.
My investment is for estate purposes and is a high percentage of my portfolio.

Q: I have never been a fan of timing the commodity cycle. However, I am looking at taking positions in one or more of LUN, LIF and TECK.B. While TECK has been higher the other two are at new or near their all time highs. In your estimation, do these stocks (all company specific issues aside) just keep going higher while the global environment is positive? Can you please rank them on overall gains on the one hand and relative safety on the other? But do you think they will all just be pummeled (as per usual) during the next global recession and/or first signs of overcapacity? Thank-you.

Q: I would like to invest a portion of my RRSP funds in the balanced portfolio I've seen here. I have a 15-year time span until I'd possibly need to begin relying on these funds. I understand that we are all in unique circumstances and that you don't wish to provide specific advice but could you give me some overall guidance on how one should be integrating the portfolio into an investment account? More specifically, should I purchase a position in all stocks at the same time or slowly adding one stock at a half/ full position per month or if they seem to be retracting in price. I thought of adding a new holding on a regular basis but I was concerned that I would not have the complete industry exposure until all were purchased. Is there a more prudent way of doing things in your experience. Thanks in advance.

Q: GEVO;Wondering what your take would be on this company. Conceptually what they are doing sounds very interesting and would seem to have an attractive longer term potential.

How significant does 5i feel the following two factors are to Dolby's future growth, revenue and profitability?
(i) the unauthorized copying of Dolby software, and
(ii) licensees understating or failing to report the true number of products sold incorporating Dolby technologies.
Does 5i feel Dolby is making progress addressing the above two weaknesses/threats with technology or other means?

Q: What is your current view of Nevada Copper

Q: VGG has an expense of .28 but holds 100% VIG at an expense of .06. Why is there such a difference in expenses? What factors should an investor use to decide between the two.

Obviously it seems as though the buy out offer has been accepted by the board and powers that be. With that said what are my options now with my remaining shares? What happens if I do nothing? What would you advise? Thanks
