Q: In my TFSA I am looking to move it to a more growth oriented stance. In keeping with this I have added ENGH and LSPD already. In what order would you sell the above (other than LSPD and ENGH)? Have you been able to peg an entry price for XBC? It bounced off $2.76. Is shipping and delivery the biggest risk to becoming profitable in the next 1-2 years as systems are manufactured in China? If so is it your belief that the next quarter may be severely impacted and we should wait?

Q: A bit of a blast to the past....I have held on to Covalon following its dramatic decline. from a long time ago. It has been bumping up in the last while and is now over $2.00. Do you have any insight into why it has been increasing? Any thought about its prospects going forward? Would you want to add to a very small current position? Q: Given the extremely explosive runup for this name to date, are you fully expecting a period of "consolidation" heading into the end of the year or do you feel the momentum could continue in the short term?

Q: I am confused and frustrated about the stock price movement as between BIPC and BIP.UN. Today BIPC is down approximately 1.67% while BIP.UN is up 0.60%.

BIPC recently hit a high of $100 and is now down approximately 23% from such high. Meanwhile BIP.UN is almost at its 52-week high.

I want to buy BIPC because I want to avoid the hassels preparing by tax return that BIP.UN and limited partnership brings along with it (mainly the delay of receiving the tax form from Brookfield).

My question: How do I know I am buying BIPC today at a market equivalent price to BIP.UN ? I want to avoid buying BIPC just to have it further correct while BIP.UN remains the same or increases.

The "efficiency" of the stock market is clearly lacking here and also with all the Brookfield limited partnerships vs. corporation stock variations.

Q: Peter,

Bank profits are massively up. Normally they suffer when the interest rate differential between the deposits and loans is as squeezed as much as it is now. What is the big reason for the huge profit jump? Is it simply the loan revenue from mortgage lending, the reversal of prior loss reserves , the wealth management areas or something else?

I have followed 5i and my well diversified RRIF now has >20% Tech due to the growth of the 4 companies held. Until recently, only KXS was in the Red but now all 4 look great. Would you consider any for trimming back to keep sector less than 15% and where else should one go for any buy and hold at this record levels ?

When investing monies into a diversified ETF, such as SPY or QQQ, which investment approach provides the best risk-return profile? More specifically, how would you rank the following investment approaches: lump-sum, dollar cost averaging, (DCA) and augmented DCA?

Augmented DCA is a modified version of DCA where the investment strategy is more aggressive if the economy is expanding and more conservative if the economy is contracting. Macroeconomic factors are employed to determine if the economy is expanding or contracting (e.g., market volatility, unemployment rate, and capacity utilization).

If an investor chooses DCA or augmented DCA, over what investment period would be reasonable? Is it 6 months? 9 months? 12 months? 15 months?
