Q: Hello 5i,
Which two currencies would you chose to invest in after the Canadian loonie and the American dollar. The term of the investment would be similar in length to the aforementioned currencies and have a single purpose of diversifying the overall portfolio, regarding currencies.
Kind regards,
Q: Hi folks,
Would you be able to comment on afn? The technical and fundamentals seem to be lined up. Mabe it,s to high already?
There is a huge crop needing bin space.
Q: Good morning...In the world of a Trump President and his dislike of the NAFTA and potential dismantling of that agreement..What names /sectors would suffer the most...Would you see a major readjustment to your portfolio in preparation of any action? If so, how far in advance would you adjust?
I submitted this question about a week ago, but guess that it must be "floating" in cyberspace! Here it is again:
There was an article in the July 18th Globe & Mail called "It’s time
for investors to reassess their rainy-day funds". The author
believes that too many investors keep too much money in low-
interest bank accounts and money-market funds. Instead, he
states that "intermediate-term bonds, over the long run, are
superior not just to cash but to long-term bonds as well. So when
thinking about where to invest your fixed income assets,
remember Goldilocks: The best place to be is not too long and
not too short. The place to be is what is essentially a large “sweet
spot” between short and intermediate. That’s where the reward-
risk trade-off is at its greatest."
Assuming that one agrees with this thesis, what fixed-income ETFs would you recommend that could fit the bill?
Q: Hi, could you please comment on DH earnings. At the first glance, Revenue, EBITDA and FCF, all seem to have meet or beat estimates. Laser Pro renewals are still weak (as expected) but organic growth in other areas appear to be decent. Debt reduction seems to be a priority. How do you read their commentary on outlook ? DH stock has gone thro' quite a roller coaster, after past two quarterly reports. Any thoughts on reducing or adding to present position. Thanks
Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
I realize this is not your "cup of tea". However ...please give your current assessment. The new phone, winning the law suit and more demand for security...may this create a small catalyst? I have held it for a while...The stock has moved up slightly...please give your opinion. Do these positive developments support "holding" for a while or best to sell in this little upswing?
Thanks for your thoughts!

Q: I'm puzzled by the enthusiasm for this sector. Besides Government regulation, what are the barriers to entry ? What makes medical marijuana farming any different than regulated tomato farming?
I have serious reservations regarding this sector. Companies with the "hope" of producing earnings at a future point in time but with very little certainty. It looks like an arms race. Get as big as you can as fast as you can, and use other people's money because they don't know what the price of their product will be when the market becomes saturated.
What will stop people from getting a bucket of soil and seeds to grow their own?
So why would shareholders pay six-figure salaries to glorified tomato farmers who have yet to prove that they can generate steady cash-flows?
This sector reminds me of the TSX-V in 2007, people mortgaging their principal residence to buy penny stocks of jr mining companies with names they couldn't pronounce. It's like investment fantasy land, drawing novice investors in hordes. When you start to receive marijuana stock tips from cab drivers and hotdog vendors, you'll know it's time to exit.
Anyone looking to buy these stocks should really evaluate what type of investor they are before committing to the weed sector. Fast money can produce fast crashes when the money runs out.
Q: Could I please have you interpretation of the Q2 results. It appears that the company will be purchasing raw material after December 2017 instead of Glencore supplying it.
Q: With the announced deal with Infor how does 1 play this going forward ? Elf is to become 2 entities terms of split unknown to a retail investors , throw this into the mix and it sounds good but how does 1 determine if 1 wants both new firms or 1 over the other?

Q: Good Morning Guys,
I'm looking to add to my AW.un here at $34.61 however, I have read you recent comments on this company and you suggest it is still a buy up to $33.50? Are you suggesting it's to high now to add more?
Thank-you.
Q: I feel as if I have owned Apple forever! I am now down 20% on the stock and just about ready to throw in the towel. Can you suggest a replacement in the same space with more growth potential? SIMO perhaps, which you have recommended before?
