Realizing that HEB is a new fund, but given its low MER (0.19%) and its equal weighting strategy for the big six Canadian banks, I am considering buying some for our non-registered portfolio. 5i's Portfolio Analytics indicates that our Financial Services sector needs to be raised. In this sector, we already have some TD, NA, and GSY in our RRIFs.
In a recent G&M article, David Berman wrote about this ETF and other new ones. He was pleased, as we all must be, that ETF fees are dropping.
Q: I'm thinking of selling my shares immediately at a small discount as it appears there can be no new bidders due to ;
"61% of NeoGames’ outstanding shares, have executed a support agreement with Aristocrat pursuant to which they have irrevocably agreed to vote in favor of the Transaction."
Your opinion please.
Q: Hi 5i. ABB is delisting in NewYork. Debating if I should keep or sell the stock. What would be the approximate cost for selling or buying the stock on the Swiss exchange? What are US or CDN companies comparable to ABB that you like and have confidence in. Best regards.
Q: Your answer to a previous question about BEPC has made me very nervous. You said that the company has missed on earning in eight straight quarters. I still own this company because of 5I's generally positive observations and now I'm wondering what's up when it misses with such regularity. I have a lot of Brookfield companies and wonder if I shouldn't sell my BEPC and put it into BIPC. I have the parents as well so I do like the overall management. But, BEPC? You still like it a lot or a little? Thanks
Q: Several months ago the dividend was cut substantially. The stock fell accordingly and has drifted lower in the meantime. Insiders have been adding shares. Should I join them or is this a trap
Q: Hi Peter, can you comment on the share cap table of Lumine. With CSU and the hedge fund and others - can you elaborate on other big shareholders (and their stake) and can you comment on how tight the float is. Also at the $19 level is it a buy?
Q: Tingo had a huge beat today and the stock was up over 16%. It is small but do you think it is worth picking up some shares? It has had a fair bit of exposure lately.Thanks, Lesley
Q: Just a comment when a guest asks why the stock is going down in the day, and a lot of the time the answer is selling because the stock is up 60% this year, but this stock was bought was probably bought many 5i clients when it was recommended as a buy in the 8 dollar level two years, sometimes I wish 5i would say get out of this stock, sell, it is so over priced, you sare not investing, just gambling. I just feel that a lot of investors need more help when to be lest GRČEDY.
Q: Did GSY ever make more info available regards the $41mil. lent to a bankrupt car finance Co.?
