Q: I have a small position in Element Solutions and am thinking of adding to it but can't find any previous questions. I'm also thinking of adding to Amphenol and starting a new position Roblox, Meta and Costco.. This would be in the growth portion of my portfolio. Or I could add to Vertiv and Axon. I have about 70k USD to deploy.

Q: TIXT continues to drop (today down around 10%) with no news that I can find. Are you aware of any reason for the significant drop? Also, what is your take on how the senior executive team at Telus could have got this so wrong?

I hold the following stocks in my TFSA with the indicating weightings within the TFSA. BN (17.5%), HPS.A (6.4%), LMN (18.6%), META (26.3%), SHOP (13.9%), TTD (16.9%). I am looking for advice for what stock I should add for my 2025 contribution. Could I please have your 3 "best" ideas to add to my TFSA ranked in order. I am looking for something solid with high potential (multi bagger potential) with solid management. Another NVDA would be nice (not asking to much here..lol). Time frame would be 10yrs plus ( I am 45 aiming for the dream of freedom 55).

Q: At current valuations, does Meta have more upside potential than Microsoft?

Q: Good morning, In the communications sector my only current holding is GOOG, which is a half position. I previously held BCE and T but sold them in recent months. Q: My portfolio contains the following securities: DRX, ATD, GOOG, AMZN, AMTM, AAPL, ATZ, AXON, BNS, BAM, BN, CSU, CRWD, DIR, EXP, LLY, ENB, GSY, HPS, ISRG, J, LMN, META, MSFT, NVDA, SHOP, TFII, TTD, TD, VRT, WSP. Most of these are under or at a full position except for AXON (higher). I have some cash I would like to deploy. Which would you add to today please for a long term investor age approx 40yr. Q: I bought my first 100 shares of BCE on Oct 22, 2014 at $47.79. Ten (10!) years later it is $38.94/share. I estimate that over those 10 years I have received $32.34 in dividends - so that helps. But holding a stock whose share price is down 20% after 10 years is not something to be proud of.

I am torn with what to do with my BCE shares. Sell all, sell half, buy more? I am trying to maintain a diversified portfolio by having exposure to the Telecom Sector, and I am not interested in replacing BCE with Telus, Rogers, etc. I already own Telus, and am down on that as well.

Telecom stocks make up about 7% of my portfolio today (my target was 8%), so if I sold BCE my % in Telecom stocks would decrease further.

If I sold any or all of my BCE, the first choice would be to replace it with something in the Telecom sector from the US (not Canada!) to keep it from falling too far away from my target of 8%. What US telecom stocks would you suggest that are performing better than BCE, T? The Telecom sector has NOT been the place to be this year, and the future does not look any better, so it is hard to maintain my sector diversification target.

For a moderate growth investor with a medium risk tolerance, what % of the portfolio would you suggest be in Telecom stocks? Is an 8% target too high?

Q: Hi Team,
I am a bit perplexed about why the last couple days NVDA has been trending down after earnings releases such as Meta, GOOG, Msft which all seem to show massive spending on AI. You would think this will translate into high demand for NVDA chips which hopefully will bold well for NVDA earnings. Any thoughts on the outlook here for NVDA earnings estimates? I assume the correct answer as usual will be to hold the stock into earnings. I am also surprised Meta and Msft are dropping after great earnings.

Q: We are planning to set up a separate investment account for our grandkids. Assume a 10 year hold. There are a few sectors we would want to overweight - 3 stocks, CAD or US, in Financials, Industrials, Technology and 1-2 stocks in the others. What do you think of the short attack on roblox today? Stock seems to be recovering from initial loses earlier today. I had been holding Roblox with hopes the name would recover with its advertising potential and growth prospects in future omniverse development and being a leader in VR games. Should I continue to hold this smaller position or is it time to run away. On a side note I always thought they would make a good aquisition target for meta for the headset usage and advertising expertise within the rblx platform. However regulators don’t seem to let Meta aquire any company these days . Thoughts ?
