Q: Question:
When analyzing Total return performance of VDY, RCD, XDIV over the long term. What % is due to price appreciation and what % is due to dividends?
These are ETF's focused on Canadian Dividend Income.

Previous Answer for XIU:

Over the last ten years, XIU’s total return CAGR is around 8.9%, with price appreciation and dividends accounting for 5.8% and 3.1%, respectively.

Over the last five years, XIU’s total return CAGR is around 11.7%, with price appreciation and dividends accounting for 8.3% and 3.4%, respectively.

Q: In your response today regarding BN, you said they were looking at moving their hq to the US. I think that was a typo, since it seems only BAM is looking to move their hq and not the parent company BN, correct? Also I see some more recent info came out today, see here. Can you explain to us BAM shareholders what this means for us? Its a bit complex, and i'm not sure if us shareholders get hosed on this move. Thx

Q: I currently just have ABBV in my portfolio so was thinking about adding an Healthcare ETF. You often mention IYH and XLV in your QandA; do you have any others that you would recommend with a higher dividend as I am an income investor who want some growth? IYH has a 3% div on 5i site, but 1% on most other sites - could you explain that? Was also thinking about adding MRK. Can you comment for a longer term hold. Thank you.

Q: Hi gang, again thanks for answering all Q's on Hammond, I like your SBC comparison to other big companies and your adjusted EBITDA response to mine.

So I promise this to be my last Q on the Hammond roller-coaster;)

Can you provide an update on growth drivers, YoY and forward looking for this co,pany. Is the underlying thesis still strong, with all the electrification needed in NA. And what support levels do you see? I'm looking to leg into a full position, but based on Apr - Jun levels of mid 90's it looks like we could have more floors down to go.
