Q: Hi,
Peyto is one of the securities that likely will get dropped from the TSX index this month due to is low capitalization (below the rate required to stay in the index). My question is .... why with this impending removal from the listing is this stock moving up significantly the last week or so? Do you see other factors influencing the price, and would you consider buying at this time?
Thanks .

Q: I have a 4% position in Enghouse which has been in my portfolio for about 3 years. What is view on this stock for its potential future growth. Thanks.
Q: Hi there,
I recently sold my position in Shopify at a big gain (thanks to you!). The majority of my portfolio is made up of the top 20 growth names in your Balanced Equity Portfolio. What names currently look good to add to from my Shopify gains?
Also, as a young investor I try to not invest in slow growth names and would prefer a concentrated portfolio. What names from the Balanced Equity Portfolio would you remove to bring it down to 20 holding, for a growthier tilt?
Thank you!

Q: Any reason why Guardant Health has been sliding down for the past few weeks? Is this a good time to start a position?
Q: Hello there,
Seems like investors are not rewarding growth in production in the oil patch. I own PXT which has done well over the last year but has been stuck in the mud around the same price since February but has bounced around a lot. Because the market is currently not rewarding for production growth , PXT is focusing on share buybacks and a very strong balance sheet which is great. Any thoughts on them initiating their first dividend and becoming more of a growth plus yield story? Return even more cash to shareholders?
thanks

Q: based on your comments, it looks like I should sell this investment. do you still recommend selling it even though the share price has been going up recently and it still pays a hefty dividend? If I sell should I wait until just after Sept 30, the next dividend payment date? if not why? what do you currently recommend replacing it with?
thanx

Q: I am a retired, conservative dividend-income investor. I have read your recent comments on each of these companies. Key question = if you had an existing partial position, would you top up either of these?
Thanks...Steve

Q: NWC reported less then stellar results and stock was knocked down ~7%. TD says "outlook over the coming years is quite positive, with mid-teens EPS growth in H2/19" which, to me, would make this a buying opportunity. Would you agree?
Q: Portfolio Analytics categorizes Sienna Senior Living as Health Care and Northwest Healthcare Properties as Real Estate (I get that it's because it's a REIT). A couple of questions:
1) Does it make sense to consider NWH.UN as being in the Health Care sector?
2) In general, does it make sense to override the sector a stock is allocated in cases like this?
3) Have you thought of adding a column to your database to allow users to do this? Using an extra column rather than overriding the Sector provided by Portfolio Analytics would give the user access to both values.
4) Same questions for Geography (see my previous question).
Thanks
Peter

It's clear that software stocks are taking a heavy beating right now. Are there any concerns for recovery and continued growth at the companies above? What sort of expectations might you have for the above stocks down the road at the 1-year, 3-year and 5-year marks?
