Q: I have a few questions on PLTR. What annual revenue growth rate has the company set and what will it achieve if it meets its q4 revenue target? What affect has the employee remuneration in shares having on total shares outstanding? The optics of PLTR missing analysis estimates each quarter is problematic. Do you believe the company will improve it's ability to meet or exceed analysts estimates (and its own) or do they just don't care? Maybe there is a better explanation for these misses. Alex Karp ses to revel in and seek out a guru status, but can he deliver the results he promises. He certainly isn't conservative in setting targets and seems to have new explanations each quarter for missing expectations he has set. That said, the business is growing, I'm just not sure how investable the stock is. I am considering selling at a loss in a registered account, but can hold for a very long time if the value of shares could improve over time.

Q: Chesswood, North American Construction and Hammond Power Systems all produced some very good Q3 results. All look very cheap on a p/e basis. Would like to hear some comments about each as possible purchases in a diversified portfolio. I hold some HPS, but not the other 2.

Q: Good afternoon 5i
I read recently that it is possible to donate shares which have had a capital loss to charity. I was aware of the capital gain rule but not this. I tried to search this question but with no luck. I am sure that you would know. Is there any big advantage to doing this if one also has sizeable capital gains?
Thanks

Q: Dear 5i
From what i`ve read over the years , it is my understanding that for every 1% increase or decrease in interest rates there is a corresponding 10% increase or decrease in bond prices . Is this generally accurate ?
If so would it be advisable , once it is believed that interest rates have peaked , to purchase a bond ETF ( with longer term holdings ) ? If so what would be your bond ETF of choice ? That being said if interest rates have indeed peaked it would also be favourable for stocks as well . As such i suppose the best scenario is the add to both with new money . Do you agree ?
Thanks as usual ,
Bill C

Q: Good evening,

I just read that the CRA has recently increased the TFSA contribution limit for 2022 up to $6,500.00.

Can you tell me if this is correct?

Thanks very much.

Q: I have been doing a deeper dive on the result from CRWD and NVEI, both have increased their share compensation to employees substantially in the last year. As an investor do you have any concerns, I am wondering how much of the future gains will go to shareholders?

Thank you for everything you do. Leo

Q: Peter and Co.
Having never purchased a bond or a bond fund I would appreciate any recomendations you might have for an individual bond to purchase or a bond ETF that provides some income, not a high priority, as well as good potential for capital gains when rates eventually drop. Would a strip bond be recommended?
With appreciation,
Ed

Q: Hi 5i Team - Could you provide an update on MDF's debt and balance sheet. From a question on today's Market Call, it has either sold off a small division or is in the process of doing this. How significantly would this affect the balance sheet. Also do you see any indications that the company is striving harder to achieve profitability and better margins. Thanks.
