Q: I was looking for reasons on the big sell off in FLTR the other day (when your site was down) and pulled this up. Oddly (to me) DKNG is still trading at a respectable valuation. To me the whole thing sounds horrible. What do you make of it?
Q: Hello, I have a 2% position of BYL at $2.35. Considering the recent news release: "Shareholder Increases Interest in Baylin Technologies", what are the possible scenarios and implications to shareholders like me? I read rumors of privatization, and I am not sure whether to sell, hold, or add to it.
Q: I have just sold my Inter Pipeline stock which was about 2% of my portfolio. I am looking to re-deploy proceeds. Was considering investing in Pembina but am now wondering if Enbridge would be a better play but am unsure of where things stand with the Michigan pipeline. I would appreciate you thoughts on PPL vs ENB. I have a 10 year investment term.
Presently have a 4.5% weight of FTS in my RRSP.
Thinking of selling half and buying BIP.UN for growth and the dividend
Your comments and any other suggestions are most welcome.
Q: I have small holdings (1 1/2% to 2 1/2% of APTV (+24%)&TSLA(+12.6%) in my TFSA and DOCU(+18.6%), IDRV(+7.77%) & NVDA(+47.29%) in my cash ac over 7 month hold. Looking at adding some more USD and wondering if I should be adding to some of these or buying others. This would be a 3-5 year hold.
Take as many credits as you see fit.
PS: Thanks to you I am up 235% on shopify! Thanks for all you do.
Q: Hello Everyone at 5i! With the US in sore need of infrastructure construction, what are your thoughts on an investment in NV5Global? Having read your impression of the company in a question posted May2020, has your opinion of the stock changed? Cheers, Tamara
Q: What are your thoughts on this relatively small reit. Are its tenants substantial enough to have weathered the Covid - 19 crisis and is the dividend safe. Any other thoughts you may have would be appreciated.
Q: In relation to a Q&A on this name earlier today, I ready on Seeking Alhpa that UTCC was being removed from the Russell Index - not sure if this is true or if it explains the drop. If it is true, any idea on why it was removed? Thanks.
Q: Despite being one of the top performing stocks on the TSX over the past 12 months there seems to be no mention about this Green Company by anybody on the street. Is this strange? In the last Q investor call the very conservative Management team even stepped outside their comfort zone indicating that revenue growth is coming very soon as big multinational companies are becoming their customers. When do you think the real attention from the investment community will come, despite that the company is flush with cash?
Q: Trz has climbed from $4.25 on apr 25 to well over $7.00 this week even though one financial institution has lowered target price to $3.00.
I know they announced recently they will begin flying to the South and Europe but this does not explain the runup in their share price.
Any ideas?
Q: Good morning, looking for your input on the mining sector and in particular the companies listed above, any cause for concern with the recent stock price retreat?
Would you recommend ODV at these levels for a speculative hold with a 2 to 4% weighting? I had not heard of the company until now, but like the tie to Osisko Royalty!!
Q: I see there was today (June 17) a rather substantial shift to Growth and away from Value which I did see you acknowledge in an answer today. Can you provide some insight as to why? I'm thinking Fed, but if so, what in their comments caused that? Should these gyrations be ignored in the medium/long run? After all, it was a pretty violent switch previously but from value to growth and for an extended period. Is there logic/fundamentals operating here? It was all fine with me as I am overweight growth/tech. As an additional question, I am playing copper with FCX but I see you suggesting other stocks for a copper play, and with the copper price downturn would you suggest switching FCX for another name? As always, thank you very very much for the service you provide.
