Q: Hi Guy,

Just wanted to get your thought on Eric Nutall's take on the oil market on BNN yesterday.

He believed that more specialized companies (top picks were BTE, CPG, PD) were more promising than generalized companies like CNQ and ENB.

I value your opinion and would be happy to spend more points for a more detailed answer., especially on CNQ and CVE.

I own ath bte tve, I bought them during the dark days of the oil patch, my big purchase was ath, I averaged down from
$ .60 to $.12, at the bottom I thought it was over, anyways as the price moved up I starting selling, just happy to escape with my life. I have a little left, but as it has gone up so much I don't think there is more upside left in another stock, thinking about buying more tve or bte, what do you think, or do you have other oil's that have decent upside?

Q: I own these energy stocks and some are on the plus side and others are on the losing side. I've been waiting for quite some time for the Chinese economy to take off, but it seems to go nowhere ? I would like to trim some of my holdings. Please place them in order of what you would keep down to some you would let go. Maybe you could code them as 10 being the best and 1 as being the worst. Do you still see both Topicus and Lumine Group as long term holds or should i just buy CSU and add more to my existing shares? If oil companies decide to privatize, how would the investor share price be reflected? Does the company buy out our portion of shares and at what price (current price of market).. Lastly, any comments on baytex would be appreciated. Thanks

Q: I hold the listed equities/ ETF in my 14 year old grandson's RESP account. Given thee current environment what changes would you make in preparation for the next 4 years? I consider HFR is cash available.

Woule you consider adding some US listings for diversification? Given some current thinking regarding the US dollar would it be wiser to add Cdn listed ETFs of US companies? . What would be the tax implications of adding US listed companies that do not pay a dividend? Any paperwork?
