I currently hold BABA.US in my RRSP and was considering a switch to AMZN.US. In an effort to further reduce risk while maintaining a tech component in my overall diversified portfolio, I'm now looking at selling my current BABA.US holdings and buying either QQQ.US or XLK.US which both hold some AMZN.US.
What are your thoughts on this potential move and of the two ETFs mentioned, which would you recommend and why?

Q: I noticed a big increase in trading by consumers was reported recently with regards to zero commissions.Is this happening only in US right now or is it available to traders in Canada. What companies and minimum amounts are required to open an account .I realize it is not a stock question,but your valuable team is always there with great infomation.Take as many points.

Q: I took a position in Ituran Location and Control. I wanted to cross check if I was missing anything here. The company trades at a P/E ratio of 15.8. Based in Israel with sales mainly in Israel, And South America. 80% market share, 3.7% yield. Subscriber growth grew nicely in 2019. Missed three of the last 4 earnings and net income dropped over prior year, but operating cash flow has increased over the prior year. I think this drop in net income explains the share price drop. Insider ownership is high. Roe is good. Iturun owns 46% of a company called BRINGG a logistics platform for businesses with customers that include Walmart, McDonald’s and DoorDash which could be a hidden catalyst. I think I have a winner here... Considering the low valuation, what risks could I be missing?

Q: I'm having trouble with the high valuations of some of today's star stocks. On top of that, and as illogical as it is, I have trouble investing in the these stocks after they have run so far. Q: I have owned Husky for several years and bought it at $26. At the time, it looked like a good investment in an integrated oil company. Recently, the price has gone down to $9 per share and I am concerned about whether the share price will rebound significantly. It has traded quite a bit around the $15 mark in the recent year or two. I also understand that the majority shareholder recently sold his shares. What does that signal for the company? Is this a good investment to continue to hold? The current dividend yield is 5%. Thank you for your help.

Q: Hi, can you explain the connection between the Coronavirus and the markets? I’m watching stocks like Photon, Nvidia, and Xpel get hammered (xpel the worst at 12% - I’ve already taken profits so I’m only on house money there at least). I just don’t really understand why people getting sick has such an effect. I’m not trying to be cold, just trying to understand and learn if there’s a way to hedge against it.

I read that Artiza's director sold last week 1.9 million $ worth of stock. As well as two other executives exercised their options and sold.
Would you read anything negative ?
Between GOOS and ATZ, which one would you prefer for a long term holding I need more consumer discretionary in my portfolio. (I am 60 and will not require to access any funds).

Q: I have been holding SIS in my TFSA nearly for the last 2 years and down by 20%. With not so promising outlook for 2020,Would you suggest to continue holding or switch? If switching, what stock would you suggest in the same sector?
