Q: Hi Team,
EGLX is now 0.3% of my portfolio down 88%. I want to either sell it and use the funds in existing positions or pump more money into it. Sell or add?
If I sell please advise in order of preference which names you would add to for 5-10 years between the following NVDA, PLTR, GSY, LSPD, SHOP, WELL?
Thanks

Q: I invested some speculative capital in the above companies last year in a taxable account. Terrible timing. As we near the end of the year, I plan to sell some of these for tax loss harvesting and use the funds to average down in the others. Which would you sell and which would you average down?
Also somewhat related to this is the fact that I feel as much as there’s a good buying opportunities in some U.S. stocks right now, the high U.S. dollar makes it hard for me to convert CAD funds to USD. Am I right to hold off on currency conversion for now?

Q: I am restructuring a non-registered account to be more defensive, and less tech heavy. All of the following US stocks are down: APPS, OKTA, PYPL, PLTR, SE, TTD, MRVL, TWLO, U, VEEV. Do you consider them a sell or hold?
Thanks.

Q: Hi,
Please take as many credits as you feel fit. Our portfolio is a hot mess. We’ve basically been ignoring this downturn for the past 6 months knowing we are are in for the long term. Retirement is 7-10 years out. The above holdings have fallen below a 1% weight in our portfolio. We have limited cash to deploy. Which of these would you add to? In what order? Any you would not add to and just hope that time allows for recovery? Any if these you would sell? For the ones that could be added too. Would you just buy now or put some stink bids in given the crazy volatility in markets? Any additional input is welcome.
Thanks so much,
Kerri

Q: Hi,
I own EGLX, PLTR, PINS and U in my TFSA and all getting killed. Would you sell any to consolidate in 1 or 2 or sell them all and move to something else? Holding on is also an option. Looking forward to your thoughts.
Thanks for your great service.

Q: I got caught in the recent drop with too much US tech. I have positions in these companies, all down more than 50%. I don't need to consolidate, but could if it means a stronger recovery. Looking toward a recovery in the market, do you see any holdings that have a lesser chance of recovery, that should be sold to add to another position that has a better chance of recovery? Thanks!

Q: In light of the market backdrop & the poor Q on Aug 8 resulting in a 14% haircut that day along with your comments,I humbly and painfully think it will take time for PLTR to recover.Have a 50% loss. of which 66% of shares in my investment a/c & balance in Tsfa.Thinking of selling & replaced it by better stocks like Goog,Amzn,Bam.a,Atd.Please provide u opinion & rank the above stocks starting with best. Please feel free to provide 2 or 3 stocks that u prefer. Please comment on Mgni Q2 results released today. In After Hours it was at $8.61, a drop of 6.82% Again its it timely to sell at some 53% loss in investment a/c and replace with above stocks. Please comment. Txs for u usual great services & views

Q: Hoping you can comment on your thoughts on stock based compensation in general and go into some details with Palantir (PLTR) specifics. It seems that PLTR are giving a very high amount of stock since it has gone public and seems to have a big impact on earnings per share despite revenue increasing. Is this common practice? Is this a product of it just going public? What concerns, if any, do have with this (e.g., diluting share holders)? Does this give you cause for concern about the long term potential for PLTR? Does stock based compensation tend to decrease in time with newly listed companies or is it often held consistent through time?

LSPD, SHOP, EGLX, PLTR, PINS, U

1- Should I let any of them go to deploy in the others?
2- Can you please rate them in order of best growth over the next 4-5 years.

Thanks for all you do!

Q: Down significantly on these names, wondering at these level if you would still hold on for a better market, if so which ones or swap them out for other stocks that are down and may have a better chance to recover.

Q: Terrible markets with NQ in bear space. NVTA,PATH, PLTR,BL are at/near new lows. Reportedly PLTR reports before open,May 9. All in Investment a/c.,except BL in Tfsa. Thinking of selling at a loss before they get worse, which maybe offset by potential capital gain of other stocks at a later date. Appreciate u short view on each. Txs for u usual great views & services.
