Q: 5i’s Income Portfolio:
You’ve stated elsewhere that this portfolio targets a 4 to 5% income and 6 to 8% return….thats easy to understand.
What is not clear to me is the rationale behind the composition of the portfolio. Sector weightings, for example, do not conform to advice provided elsewhere.
Would you please explain the composition, or point me at a place where you have already done so.

Q: I want to spend the next 14 months growing my TFSA to pay down my mortgage when it comes due in June 2025. I started this quest about 6 months ago with 20% of the funds, and I'm now about halfway there. I have funds in US for 6 positions, and Canadian for 3, and currently own the above stocks. I haven't yet made my TFSA contribution for 2024, so could add a position to either. Keeping in mind the remainder of my portfolio is well balanced (cash account and RRSP) and this is a 14-month growth mission, do you see anything I should sell, or can you recommend something I should buy?
Q: What are some of the negative outlooks of GWO? Is it worth investing in as of today and if so is it primarily for the dividend or growth? And how come lots of analysts are reiterating a hold? What insurance company would you recommend over GWO?
Q: Can you share your thoughts on DDD and the 3D printing industry? Will AI help this industry to take off?
Q: Would you be comfortable bringing VRT up to a full position? I currently have half a position and uncommitted funds to increase that to a full position. If you would prefer more diversity, can you provide three other suggestions for a US growth stock - not in the consumer cyclical space - for a TFSA? (NVDA already held.) Thank you.
Q: Hello Team,
Do you like either or both of these two, which would you prefer and would you consider them comparable to Amazon for growth?
Thank You,
Barry

Q: In your answer to my question to today about EDGE AI - it was intended to specifically address NTNX role. I know you own it, and I was trying to understand how important a role it could play. But, you did not name it in the stocks that could play a role in EDGE AI.
Q: Down another 17 cents or 4.4% early at 10am. Were basically at a 52 week low. Do you think there should be a time where the regulators look into the trading at some point. Even if there was nothing nefarious I believe they could change or evolve trading in this high tech, AI enviornment. I don't want the general population to develop a feeling deception like the media got branded "fake news".
Business wise during the conference, I don't understand creating shareholder value by possibly selling Wisp or CRH medical. How would they replace all that recurring revenue.
Thanks Steve

Q: Hi 5i:
These 2 are in my TFSA, AQN is down 15% and ATZ 27%, each are 1.5% of TFSA.
I am thinking it is time to move on. My reason is that I think it will take too long for these to "come back"
I know that this will be a loss I cannot claim.
What do you think? Any suggested replacements?
Thanks for all your work and analysis.

Q: Good morning, Could you say if there is an ETF available inC$ for US mid cap growth ? If so what do you think of it ? thanks Larry
Q: Does it make sense to buy Sygnity? (I own Topicus, Constelation and Lumine)
Q: I struggle with ATS and KXS whether to sell or continue to see drifting lower. I know you suggest selling if something fundamental has changed for the worse. People commonly thinking ATS is a growth name, but their backlog is shrinking, still a growth name? Fundamental changed? KXS's growth is declining as well....when it will resume their growth? If sell them, what to buy to replace? Can I have your thoughts? Thanks.
Q: I am down 48% with WELL after holding it for it seems like ever. It is time for this stock and me to part ways. Can you please suggest 3 Canadian stocks that are profitable with good cash flow and reasonable debt as a replacement. I already feel better having made this decision. Thank you
Further to my recent request for suggestions to replace WELL, please add a walk out the door valuation to the desired selection criteria. Thank you once again.

Q: You recently answered several questions about NXT. This led me to consider FLEX as an investment. What are your thoughts on FLEX? According to the company profile, FLEX pays a 23.169% dividend once a year. Is this correct? Would you still prefer NXT over FLEX? Thank you
Q: Hi, Any comments on Lumine Group NR about setting up a $310 mln LOC ? Good ?
May be, it demonstrates LMN Management's commitment for a more expedited growth path than its parent.
Constellation Software, if I remember correctly, set up their first Bank LOC, several years down the road after going public ( may be I'm wrong ), because Mr Leonard, for a long time, had not been a fan of debt, until the company raised the hurdle rate and made a shift towards looking for larger acquisitions.
Thank You
