Q: I have not seen any questions on Starwood for a while. It has a good yield. Is it a buy at these levels?

Q: This company is at March 2020 lows. Do you have conviction in this name or would you suggest putting sale proceeds into DSG, PBH or CAE for instance? I have plenty of IT exposure already. Thank you.

Q: I'm going to increase my position in either MAL or AND { both at around 1.2% position } to somewhere around 2.5% ..... Which of the two does 5I prefer at today's prices ? ..... Can you comment on AND's earnings report ...... And problems with increasing rents, hiring drivers, and fuel prices going forward ? ...... Simply Wall Street claims MAL's earnings are set to grow 106.9% per year for the next three years. That's a pretty hefty increase in earnings ....And that the dividend is not well covered by earnings ..... Can you confirm this ? ..... Thanks for your great service. Garth

Q: Hi!

I understand why Magna is down given their exposure to Russia and Belarus even though it is small, investors are selling everything associated with Russia. It seems over done since I'm sure Magna could pivot quite easily given the size of their overall operations and the proportion in the undesirable countries. I have starting building a position at these levels since it is approaching a 3% yield. Agree?

On the other hand, not sure what is going on with Aritzia. Down from $58 to below $45. Is the market anticipating a recession? Doesn't seem like their manufacturing is affected by the War. Having a hard time making sense of this given Aritzia's momentum prior to the War and strong earnings reports.

Q: I have been tracking the iron ore price since July 2021 when it was $213 and LIF share price was $49.61. Iron Ore hit a low in December below $95 and has since been steadily tracking higher (above $150 for a couple of days in Feb) and was $146 yesterday. On Feb 23 Rio Tinto reported record financial results and declared a dividend of $10.40 (79% payout). LIF will receive a significant dividend and royalty from Rio Tinto and they usually pass this through to shareholders. LIF shares closed at $48.61 today the highest they have traded at since July 2021. Your thoughts on the amount of the dividend LIF will pay out to shareholders and the future of iron ore prices. Thank you

For tax-loss selling purposes in a non-registered account, are QQQ and any other ETF that tracks the NASDAQ 100 index (eg. QQQM) considered different ETFs?
