Q: Good day to all, SONDER went bankrupt over the weekend so thank you for helping me dodge that bullet!

On another note, when you issue a recommendation to "Buy/Sell/Hold" or when evaluating a company, what is your general timeline for investment?

Or is your report card grade more of a present and general evaluation of a company. The evaluations appear to me to be on point and detailed enough for my limited knowledge.

My investment psyche tries to be "buy and hold and enjoy dividends and growth" but everyone has their own timeline and strategies (or "strat" as my teens say)

Could you come up with a list of « sleep at night » ETFs, with a 5-10 years horizon, ranking them from best to lowest potential growth and from highest to lowest risk ?

Q: Today Northland Power sank by 27% and the dividend was cut by 40%. A couple of years ago Algonquin Power cut their dividend twice.
Both companies are in the renewable energy sector.
Another company that is involved in the renewable energy sector is BEP.UN.
What is your opinion about the prospects of BEP.UN going forward ? Is this company facing any risks like those faced by NIP.UN and AQN ?
Would you add or hold the shares of BEP.UN at these levels ?

Q: Hi, thoughts on the 1/4 please. Do financials still appear on track?
I thought at one time 5i indicated that they are/were nearing profitability. 5i's Company EPS estimates page shows fy2025 and fy2026 still at a loss of .08 and .07 cents, respectively.
I do own the stock and was accumulating around the $4.50-5 but they are down a fair bit from the 52 week high now. Stay the course?

Q: There’s concern NBIS gets left without a seat when the music stops - said differently, they are stuck owning infrastructure that’s not needed once the AI boom starts to normalize. I know they have two other business units.. what’s your counter to the sell side? You mentioned below $100 is decent .. is today’s $93 better or do we have to consider other variables?

Q: Hi 5I. Which of these 2 has the highest probability of success. What is the competitive advantage of each? What is the guidance on forward p/e of each? In VNP's case, which offering is their strong suit - Semiconductors or Performance Materials?

I love 5I. Have been an extremely happy subscriber for going on 12 years and it irks me when someone voices some petty grief. For investment advice for an individual direct investor, there is no better value than 5I.

Q: Are you surprised by the post earnings decline? I know you advocate holding stocks for many years and while I agree that this is probably best but I worry about where this will find a bottom. I find it hard psychologically to hold stocks that fall 20%. (Note to self - remember this feeling before you buy a growth stock next time).
