Q: In what order would you buy these stocks today, for capital appreciation?

Q: Hello 5I. I’m at break even with Smci. Should I hold or move on and catch the next train up?
I presently hold NVDA,AXON,VRT. I’ve done very well with the other three, thanks to your us side suggestions. If I move, what would be your picks.

Q: Here I go again. I'm seeking your help to identify strong companies in Canada and the United States in the right sectors in the new Trump era that demonstrate 'relative safety' yet the potential to grow significantly. A bit of a reach. But I would appreciate your help to identify 5 Canadian and 5 American companies that could fit the bill. I have a relatively short time horizon - 3 years. Q: The following stocks are all up nicely: AXON, PANW, NVDA, COST, ISRG, META, TTD and CRWD. All are mid size positions in my portfolio. Where do you see the markets going in January? Would you recommend trimming any of these stocks? Would you suggest holding more cash going into the new year? Thank you

Q: To this point in time LMN has been a solid performer in my TFSA. Recent results and some of your comments have "cooled" my expectations going forward.

Q: A while ago you guys offered up an interview with Chris and Peter. They were talking about the ideal stocks and why Peter selects them.

The recco from Peter during that episode was Axon and why it was so amazing. Well, everything Peter stated has proven to be right and stock is up close to 100%.

Does Peter have another stock he loves as much as Axon was loved during that interview?

Q: Good Mornings,

With much thanks to 5i, my winning stocks far outweigh my losers. However, I'm thinking of doing a little post election portfolio cleanup of two stocks.

Just trying to decide if I should consider cutting my losses on Aspen Aerogels and Transmedics, or if you think the analysts might have it correct and they are worth holding for another quarter or two?

I think I may have missed the boat on Axon, which I have deliberated about buying for two years. It has gone up so rapidly with the Trump win, that it may do some consolidating for a while.

If you have some small-mid cap suggestions that you think are showing good momentum and might be a replacement for ASPN and TMDX, please give me a few ideas. This could include Axon or any other sector stock, US or Canadian.

Q: I have held a position of about 2.5% in MG (was higher, but its performance has lagged that of my overall portfolio, thus the decrease in relative exposure) for years now, and have maintained the investment due to a decent dividend (about 4.5% at today's price) and low P/E (trailing P/E listed as 11.59, current forward P/E quoted as 6.75 with Yahoo! Finance). I am concerned that the potential of the US exercising tariffs on goods imported to their country could profoundly impact MG's future performance. I believe that Magna does have some factories in the US: would this exclude them from having tariffs levied on US consumers of their goods?

If MG would be affected by tariffs, and a pivot to another investment would be prudent, I have been considering AXON and ISRG as potential replacements (my portfolio could tolerate a decrease in Consumer Cyclical exposure, and I feel I have room to increase exposure to Industrials and/or Health Care).

Ultimately, my questions are as follows:

1. Will MG be affected by the potential for tariffs to an extent strong enough that an exit from the investment should be seriously considered?

2. Of AXON and ISRG, which company do you feel is poised for greater growth in the next 36 months?

Q: If YOU were going to initiate a position in the above two stocks, would you:
1) buy at current levels
2) wait until valuations are better
3) buy at regular intervals over the next 12 mos

Q: Retired with a longterm (10+ years) investing horizon and a solid pension. My TFSA is primarily growth and all Canadian with some US exposure (WSP, PRL). I’ve got some $US I want to put to work in my new unregistered $US account. I realize you don’t want to get personal but if it were your money and you were looking to start a new US based portfolio with solid companies a bit on the growthy side what 6-8 companies would you consider?

I currently hold GOOG, NVDA, AMZN, CROX, IRSG.

Q: My daughter recently inherited a substantial sum of money and would like me to invest such in a mix of companies, both in the US and Canada, with a modicum of international companies. She lives in Europe.
Could I respectfully ask if you could offer your chosen six equities in each of the US, Canada and worldwide (in order of preference), including one or two ETF’s, with a mid term (5 - 8 years hold) term. Could you also provide an entry point for each stock?
