Q: thoughts on the quarter please?
Q: My Material's weighting is a little light and I am mulling over a purchase of LGO to balance out some gold stocks. I notice LGO's stock spiked in 2019 and then collapsed. Would you advise me that the spike, collapse and now climb-out is just a typical roller coaster Material company ride - ie the ride comes with the territory? In addition I am uncertain how much faith I should put into LGO's newish battery technology. "Green Technology" also seems to be another version of a roller coaster ride. Any thoughts you have would be appreciated.

Q: MAGT After reading your earlier comments on the company, I got some interest and looked at the company's Investor Presentation and News etc at its website.
In one of the Slides in the Presentation, a page relating to 'Competition' had been deleted and a reference was made to the Preliminary Prospectus in Sedar, that I could not access. I have two questions:
1. While the past performance of MAGT is impressive, one needs to look at the future prospects. In this regard, we must know about the competitive mote this company has against others, if any. Do you have any information about the competition?
2. The top 3 executives own now 80% of the stock. Is there a possibility that they will unload their stocks, if stock price shoots up substantially. Also, how much one can trust on Jim Balsillie (former RIM founder) to stick with this investment.
Appreciate your reasoned comments and reply.
Thanks and regards
Antony

Q: any estimates for topicus next week? Thx
Q: Thoughts on U.S. company Indie Semiconductor Inc.Thanks.
Q: I am looking for ETFs with reasonable dividends, safe (less fluctuation) and at the same time the ETF can have some potential upside if market does well. I could not think of a sector better than utilities. Any thoughts? Please let me know if you have a better sector/industry (including your recommended ETFs in that sector/industry).
What are your thoughts on these two (RNRG and XLU)?
A side question: How can I know my remaining credits for more questions?
Thanks,

Q: Hello,
If you were to compare between DOO and HZO which looks more attractive? Would you have a position in both or just one? Do they complement each other? I missed the 4x from COVID prices on both do they still have room to grow? Thanks.
Shyam

Q: Hi,
Finally some good news re. Noront! Although Doug Ford never jumped on a bulldozer as promised, some long awaited interest in the Ring of Fire. Just wondering what you would suggest investors do in these situations; trading right around takeover price ($0.55) but it seems to me that mostly upside from here so better to hang on.
Thanks,
Steven

Q: What do you think of this relatively new IPO?
Q: Do you know management's financial predictions for the upcoming quarter? I believe the numbers are to be released next Tuesday August 3rd. I'm a shareholder and am in a minor loss position. I need to take more money out my RIF but thinking of waiting until after the release of numbers before deciding wether to sell or hold NVTA. I prefer companies with sterling managers and missing 8 quarters is disconcerting. Any thoughts you have would be appreciated.

Q: Can you speak to the class-action lawsuit filed against Coinbase?
What do you think of the future prospects for Coinbase? Their fees appear high relative to the competition, and the threat of commission free (or low fee) crypto exchanges looms large. Competitors, such as Kraken, are preparing to follow suit and go public. Is the Coinbase business model and continued growth rate sustainable?

Q: I would like your thoughts on QTIP as a partial or whole substitute for funds like XBB or ZAG. Also going forward from now into 2022 how do you see bond funds performing overall. I currently have 35% of my portfolio in fixed income.
