Q: Thank you for the update on TOI's earnings. How do you see this rolling out over the next 3-5yrs. Similar to CSU with upside potential? From Total Addressable Market, is there lots of growth in TOI's future? I find the company to be quite stealth with limited information. Do you seeing this changing in the future, including analyst coverage and institution buying.

Q: You indicated today that financials are one of the better sectors to be in. Assuming an investor is just starting out and wanted to buy a basket of financial companies. The goals would be to:
1. capture relatively high dividends from some of the larger companies
2. secure some faster growth by buying some small/mid-cap companies understanding this would require acceptance of. a bit more risk.
What Canadian companies would you suggest this investor buy today to put in that basket?

To calculate the adjusted cost base for shares held in a non-registered account that I wish to sell, do I include the cost of the same shares held in a registered account (TFSA)? Or are they considered two separate pools for tax purposes? Thanks for your help. Ron

Q: Hi,
I sold my NTR back in Dec for some tax loss selling in margin account. I bought MOS as a proxy and its up 20% since then. Should I switch back to NTR now or keep holding MOS? Would have to report a gain on MOS now if I switched back. How does NTR and MOS compare now and what are the growth prospects going forward. Looking at historical performance, they move somewhat in tandem to each other. Thanks!

Q: Is there software that a retail investor can use to manage his retirement plan. I use an excel spreadsheet to track bonds, GICs, Dividends, et cetera, but the spreadsheet is not too handy.

Q: I am a big fan of factor/smart beta investing, but I am having difficulty identifying Canadian made etfs with both adequate size and daily volume. Please suggest etfs sold in Canada to build a couch potato diversified portfolio covering a Canada, US and global geographic area. I am quite impressed with WXM and ZUQ. I am a senior with a conservative growth inkling. Please charge question credits approriately based on your time to provide a workable response. Thank you.
