Q: Which one of these would be the best choice for a RESP. Beneficiary is an older child (grandson) who will start to draw funds from mid 2021 onwards. Looking for the best return within the 2 to 5 years remaining before total drawdown of funds would be completed.
I plan to establish a new RESP for a great granddaughter soon. She is not yet 2 years so has a long time horizon. Any suggestions?

Q: While Canadian dividend stocks are my preference due to their favourable tax treatment, etc. some emerging market exposure can't be all bad, especially if you can get a reliable dividend. Is BBVA an example of a suitable emerging market dividend payer to your mind? Thanks.

Q: I am trying to get as much FAAMG content as possible and comparing the two ETFs, they seem very similar but MGK has less volume but a lower MER. Would you have a clear favorite between the two? Thanks
Q: I have read about Vanguard Index Funds and would like to pursue.
I have excess cash that I would like to invest long term in the broad US stock market. I DIY via Questrade - my current portfolio follows your Income Portfolio.
Which of the Vanguard funds would you suggest and could you provide the symbols for such? I'm assuming I could purchase these thru Questrade.
Thanks for your help.

Q: Hello -
According to TD Webroker, the PE for this ETF is about 23. I am trying to determine how this valuation compares to its historical past. Is this considered expensive for this ETF? I sure would be reluctant to purchase a stock at a PE of 23.
Thanks,
James

Q: can I get your thoughts on the Cloud Computing EFT (CLOU)?
Q: This seems to be higher yielding (3%) but quite safe -short duration, government bond fund. Any concerns.
Q: Is there a Canadian listed Canadian dollar ETF that holds many of your USA favourite companies: NVDA, VEEV, DOC, MSFT, AMZN etc, etc.
If not is there a US ETF that holds a concentration of some of your favourite companies? Not just a sector ETF, but more focused on your favourites. Currently I'm only invested in Canada, and I want to invest, starting small, in some of the USA companies you are recommending, but, if possible with a bit of diversification.
Or if nothing exists, maybe I should just pick two, say NVDA and VEEV and invest in those in US dollars? Would those two be top of the list? It is for a small amount, about 5% of my portfolio.

Q: Hi 5i Team. Other than Horizon with HXT, HXS and HBB what other ETF providers (Canadian or US listed ETF's ) offer or have in their portfolio mix, Total Return ETF's that use swaps to reinvest dividends instead of paying them out. I'm looking for some tax efficiency with capital gains instead of payment's from dividends. Thx Steve.
Q: I was reviewing Vanguard's VFMO ETF and comparing it to iShares MTUM ETF. These two momentum ETFs use very different approaches. Which approach do you feel is best for a long-term investor? Is there any other US momentum ETF which you prefer to these two?
Thank you for your excellent advice.
