Q: Hi Peter and 5iresearch team:
In your answer to Gerry's question on Feb 16, you mentioned that CSU and ATB have been the best Canadian compounders over the last ten years. You added DOL, BYD, TFII, BN, CLL.B, TRI based on historical performance and you are expecting LMN.V, TVK, HPS.A, TOI, GSY to be potential Canadian compounders in the future.

1. Would YOU still invest in CSU, ATB, DOL, BYD, TFII, BN, CLL.B, TRI with the same conviction and weighting?
2. Could you please provide a similar answer but for the US market? Please provide 10 or so best US compounders based on historical performance that YOU think investors should keep investing in and 5 or so US companies that YOU would buy as potential US compounders in the future.

Thank you for the great service.

Q: I hold a U.S.$ portfolio of 9 stocks geared to growth - all of which are doing well, in large measure to 5i questions/answers/ comments/suggestions. Thank you for providing such a beneficial service. I have just lightened up on Crowd and would like to add the proceeds to one of the other existing stocks that are at lower percentage holdings (CELH @ 1% , CROX @ 1.5%, Amazon @ 2.2%) . Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Q: Hi,
Would you add to these names currently for a long term hold? Especially CRWD, AXON, CPRT, and BKNG, near or breaking out to new highs. Considering their valuations, growth, etc.. what order would you add and how much conviction (1-10) do you have for each name? Thanks!

Q: Can I ask why you may think there is such a high short position in CELH? The thought of good results and a short squeeze is exciting but there is also the thought that they know something the we don't. Thoughts?
Thank you

Q: I sold SMCI in my TFSA the other day after the initial 30% boost, intending to buy it in my RRSP but got sidetracked and it has shot up some more. Still buyable? Or wait for a pull back? I’m also wondering if CELH is a hold or a buy. Thanks.

Q: Good Morning
Your answer to a recent question regarding the difficulty selling your losers certainly hit home with me. I had bought ARKK pretty much at the peak buying into the Cathy Wood hype and also placating my need to not miss out on the next “Big Thing”. The fund as you know invests in many new innovation and concept stocks.
Would you endorse a switch to something like Celsius? You have been positive on this stock months ago and I wished I pulled the trigger then.
Thank you

In your reply to Ric this morning, you provided an interesting list of Canadian agressive growth stocks.

Could you provide a list of aggressive US growth stocks ?

Gratefully,

Q: In a recent answer, 5i suggested that CELH may be a multi-bagger “ IF, and only IF, it follows MNST’s pattern of market-share gains and profitability. “ Could you please describe MNST’s business model of market gains and profitability? To date, how close has CELH matched MNST’s playbook, accounting for time in the market? What are the key attributes that CELH needs to build/hone/display, in order to match MNST’s playbook?

Q: Given that you chose 4 Canadian companies in response to my earlier question, as a follow up question, would you kindly pick 4 US stocks that you believe could increase in value by 1000% over the next 10 years. Each must have a current market cap of at least $750M. Please provide a short reason for selecting each stock. Thank you.

Q: I have recently received $100,000 and as I have maxed out my TFSA, RRSP and RESP contributions for 2024 I will be depositing this into my cash/taxable account. I am looking for tax-efficient growth stocks. As capital gains are taxed lower I am looking for growth with no or low dividend.

Can you suggest 5 - 6 companies?

Thanks for your help,

Mike
