Q: Could you please share your recommendations regarding my energy sector investments? I feel like I have too many and some may be overlapping. Additionally, could you suggest a few investments inside this sector that are currently not being covered?

I aim for a balanced approach with a mix of growth and income, intending to hold these investments for more than two years.

Q: Why do pipelines often weaken when the price of crude falls based upon high available supply ? Are their tolls tied to the price of crude ? I always thought the income was based upon the volume of oil moved vs the price of crude. Thank you.

Q: Hi Peter
I owned all 3 pipelines ENB, PPL, and TRP for dividends and slow capital appreciation;
all 3 have been declining in the last few weeks
are there any fundamental reasons ? I know that the prices of oil is weak and there are obstacles to try to build a pipeline from Alberta to BC , some talks for pipeline to the USA, I am looking for opportunity to add to my existing position, should I wait longer? is there a seasonal trade timing? Q: Questions on PPL:

- Can you please provide a bear and bull case for PPL?

- How is its balance sheet compared to TRP and ENB?

- Is PPL different enough from TRP and ENB that one could own all three?

- If one were to own all three (and if BIP.UN is also owned - which has pipelines too) what overall total percentage range of Pipelines would 5i be comfortable with?

Q: Please comment on TRP valuation and outlook in the $71’s. The stock is doing well despite many negatives including: a PE near 20x (historically high?), a forecasted decline in EPS over the next 2yrs, a massive debt load which keeps rising, and uncertainty in Analyst estimates (evidenced by a wide target price range). I’m looking at lightening any riskier positions heading into fall and I expect at best TRP is a Hold.

Q: Those excellent Cies, and others in various sectors, could be significantly punished if the US law bill 899 were adopted by the US senate with no change..Curiously, the valuations of those Cies are not compromised to this day , maybe because it is still too early, and that all this would only start in early 2026....What strategy do you suggest concerning all Cies that have significant US revenues in general ,before any official US senate confirmation?
