Q: Happy New Year to the entire 5i community.

It is time to make my 2026 TFSA contribution. My TFSA is a high conviction portfolio focused on a few US securities with a risk profile somewhere in between that of the 5i Growth and Balanced portfolios. Currently, I hold AAPL, ADBE, CRM, GOOG, NVDA, QCOM, and TOL in this account. Which should I add to? I am very overweight NVDA and slightly overweight in GOOG.

If you think initiating a new position would be preferable (US securities only, and not MSFT, LLY, IBM, or MDT since I own these in another account), please let me know. No consideration to sector or market cap necessary as I am diversified in my other accounts.

If you believe any of my current holdings 'do not need to be owned', please let me know as well.

There are several questions here, please deduct as many credits as deemed appropriate for a complete response to each one.

Thank you as always.

Q: I'm looking to clean up some of my TFSA and would like to get your thoughts on the following to either buy more, sell, hold: ABNB, TTD, PRL, LULU, CLBT, RS, PNG, JPM, LMN, AEM, BKNG, ATZ, AMZN, INTU, AXON, WSP, GOOGL, NVDA?

What are a few other CAD/USD growth stocks you would recommend that are not listed for a long term hold? Thanks.

Thanks!

Q: re: HON-Q, HON-NE, HON-AQN

Hi, I am interested in buying Honeywell, but have noticed there are different versions of the CDR's, is there one better or worse than the other?
Would Honeywell be a reasonable purchase at this time or maybe one of its competitors, any suggestion would be appreciated.

Seasons Greetings,

Q: I'm looking for a growth stock for the long term without too much volatility in either Canada or the US. Can you give me 2 picks and why? If you think there are better alternatives than the ones I've suggested, please provide them.

Q: Hello 5i,

Following my SEPT 30th question and joining portfolio analytics I’ve embarked on my retooling. Following some of the great suggestions, still entering haha.

Long, Eq Wt; JPM, BN, NVDA, GOOG, META, NBIS, HOOD, COIN, GLXY, ORCL, AXON.

Starters; KRMN, CLS, SHOP, URI, WMT, CSU.

If this is YOUR U.S. portfolio what are the
next 3 full positions? And 2 starters to build out?

Yours truly, acutely aware of the risk etc etc.

Q: The above stocks make up 80.4% of my holdings. Goog and BN @7% each. The next 5 @ 4% each and the rest at or close to 3% each. For a 10 year horizon, with risk/reward in mind, where would you invest if you had 10% of the portfolio in dry powder- new cash. Any you would sell? Note, I have been trimming CLS, VRT and NBIS to control AI exposure.

Thanks again for all the insights - love the service you provide.

Q: What are your favourite US and Canadian non-tech stocks at this moment. Thank you.

Q: Retired, dividend-income investor. I am a little short on Industrials and am looking for a few ideas for me to do further research. I have a full position on WSP (trimmed it multiple times, having bought it at $36 in 2014). I also own CDZ, ZLB, ZWC, each having roughly 10% industrials.

Some initial ideas I have include CNR, TFII, and other stock and ETF ideas from you. I would prefer that you screen for having a dividend (>2%-?).

Thanks for your help....Steve

Q: I have 16.6% of my RRSP currently sitting in cash, from accumulated dividends and some contributions I never got around to deploying into the equities markets. Can you give me two names (US or Canadian equities) that I could spit this amount between, to purchase? Many thanks.

Q: Good morning 5i,

I hold the following industrial/material stocks in my RRSP: GEV (2%), FIX (2%) ETN (1.5%), HEI (1.5%), RTX (1.3%), GE (1.2%), LIN(1.2%), EME (1%), VRT (.5%). I also own AXON (3%).

I would like to increase the weight of some of these positions - ideally through consolidation. Could you please put these in order of conviction (growth) for a 5 - 10+ year hold. Are there any that you would sell outright? Would you recommend any other industrials?

Many thanks!
