Q: Once upon a time I owned this equity; there was some news today "that it has issued 623,406 common shares to fund interest due on June 30, 2020 on its 6.5% Convertible Unsecured Debentures (the "Debentures"). 355,840 common shares were issued to debenture holders that held 58.8% of the debentures, these holders having elected to receive common shares in lieu of cash interest.....Additionally, 14 insiders, including C-suite, Management and Directors, purchased 267,566 common shares through a private placement.....The Company is applying the proceeds from the private placement to pay the interest on the June 30, 2020 payment and, to the extent of any excess proceeds, the December 31, 2020 interest payment." What do you think is going on here? The stock has been on quite a slide; is this positive, or more bad news? Thanks for your excellent service.

I made a 20% profit in the above REAL.ca; it was only a half position

or sell and take the profit?

Q: Hi guys,
I am maintaining both rrsp and resp portfolios for my family with time horizons of about 20 years and 10 years, respectively.
The investment strategies have been the same thus far, and I have followed a balanced approach of identifying growth, blue chip and a nominal 15% fixed income in each. I have a combination of ETFs and stocks from your model portfolios.
With the objectives and time horizons in mind, would you deploy the same investment strategies across accounts at this point? Thoughts on what investments you would recommend?
I am also aware of the tax ramifications of the accounts, and am more interested in thoughts on risk and time horizons.
Thanks

Q: Can you provide your thoughts on this stock and if current price is good entry point
Q: I understand that Brookfield wants to buy shares at a premium (12$/share) I suppose because they think it's undervalued. My guess is one should keep the shares in that context or even buy more at 11,42$.
What do you think?

Q: Would you consider this buy back a good indication the dividend is safer now??
Q: This stock is setting all-time records and Matt McCall (stock advisor) claims that he advised people to buy this when it was basically a penny stock back in the spring. I know and trust you people. What is your opinion. Would it not be a bit late to get in now? Is it like Vector Vest when they boast about winning stocks saying they advised people to buy ages before they became winners? May I please have your opinion on Prosy which was also mentioned. One gold stock you like is Walbridge. It seems to have over the last month or so not been keeping up with the majority of the gold stocks. I know what you say will be correct. Thanks again for your trustful service. Dennis
