Q: Hello, since the rate cutting have started, what reit would you be interested in Canada and in the US?

Q: I did really well buying oil stocks when oil tanked 4 years ago, and holding during the recovery. What beaten up sector do you feel has great recovery potential like this currently? Would REIT's qualify since rate cuts appear to be coming soon, or are you not as confident in the recovery due to vacancy's & recession possibility? Thx

Q: Public storage and cell tower stocks are down significantly this year. Were they simply over-valued previously? Assuming interest rates will stabilize, do you feel that they may offer above average returns going forward? Your favourites listed on US and Canadian exchanges?

Q: REIT's are looking interesting at these prices. If you were to invest in only 1 REIT, can be US or Canada. With the thesis being you want to capitalize on the punished sector and get a quality name that has been beaten up and has a lot of upside versus a low risk name that hasn't come down much that will likely not have a ton of upside either. Which reit would you chose to invest in? Thx

Q: I have some USD within my business account from US client payments. Rather than holding as cash at the current exchange rate, I'm thinking of investing it into something that would produce some yield. It's within my Canadian Corporation, not sure the implications around US Dividends within a Corp?

I see more upside in the individual tickers mentioned, but buying the index is an easier means of setting and forgetting. Any insight or other names that would be of interest? I'd say I'm less open to significant risk with this capital coming from the Corp.
