Q: If one has a capital gain for 2019. To reduce taxes to be paid on this capital gain, if I sell a portion of StockA with a capital loss to negate any capital gain taxes to be paid. Would I be able buy back this portion of Stock A after 30 days without triggering superficial loss rule? Or do I need to sell the full position of StockA to avoid superficial loss rule? Thank you.

Q: What is your opinion on SRU ?, valuation , yield and other metrics seem similar to REI.UN , which I own enough already. Is SRU management of quality ?, they seem to invest in secondary markets (mid and small cities malls ) and have Walmart as one of their main tenants , what risks are in owning it that are not in Riocan.

Q: When I compare MFT (that I own) and FRL.UN with ZFH and PGI.UN I don't understand why the former don't perform as well as the latter. What can explain that and what would be the best bond ETF (low volatility and reasonable yield) to own within a registered and non registered account. Also, do you know a bond ETF giving mostly capital gain for a non registered account to reduce the income in interest.

Q: I am a retired, conservative, dividend-income investor. I just sold CGX and need to replace it with something else in the Consumer sector. I currently own AW, NWC, PBH and love dividends.

Can you please give me 3 replacement options in the Consumer Cyclical space as well as 3 options in the Consumer Staples space? If it is possible to filter a dividend over 3%, that would be ideal...if not 3%, then try for > 2%.
